  1. Mine and a friend's rides.
  2. I took these ages ago for photography in school, of a friend's 31. He's sold it now and got a 32, but I still like the old one, even if it was an n/a20 auto and awfully slow I've got more somewhere else, not too sure where.
  3. A new problem for the thread, I read through the replies and can't find a symptom/problem like mine. I'm pretty sure I know what it is, but want to check. When I got my car, after about a week, it split a hydraulic line and leaked out fluid and I had to get it repaired. I'm pretty sure that I didn't have any problems with it before then (But it's so long ago, I can't remember), but I think when the mechanic topped it back up; they didn't bleed the system and might have even put in a different viscosity/type of fluid into the system. The light will flash every now and again; but it gets a lot worse in hot weather than in cold (Engine heat soak seems to affect it too) and it feels like the pump 'skips' every now and again; like there's a difference in the viscosity in the fluid or it's coming across a bubble in the line. The steering will load up occasionally in a corner; with no power assistance at all, then it'll jerk and I'll have power assistance again and the light will flash whenever the system 'hiccups' like this. And yes, I check the fluid resevoir regularly with the engine on; it never leaks and is always between the marks. How hard is it to completely bleed and refill the system? I'd appreciate it if anyone can help. '89 R32 GT-R. I'm going to do a full fluids service on it as it is and if this doesn't solve the problem, I've got a lock-off bar and rods that I'll use instead, to be lazy. If someone could point me in the direction of a DIY guide of bleeding, it'd be great. I can't do a diagnostic because the car's not driveable at the moment.
  4. Me and a friend would be hell up for it if it was on the track, not too fussed about the skidpan though.
  5. Would love to come but I just got stuck into replacing and fixing stuff today. Bits of Skyline everywhere >< Wish I'd read this first. And I don't think the MX would keep up Oh well, next time definitely.
  6. Hey guys, I registered ages ago but never got around to posting. I have an imported R32 GT-R, done by KYP that I got about six months ago, but currently off the road for some minor repairs and fixes. It's a bit of a tatty example, but it still runs (Up until the alternator bolt worked loose and snapped the belt yesterday ) fairly well. I can list the problems if people are so interested, but I doubt it. It's got a few bits and pieces; some 550cc injectors, Veilside ECU, pods, cross-drilled front rotors and some decent coilovers. And amazingly, a stock exhaust still. Attached is a picture of it (Only low quality phone camera); the fibreglass bonnet came with the car and the shopping list of stickers came from the precious owner and despite my best efforts, are still on there. With a few parts from a member on here, I'm hoping to have it up and running at full capacity in the next month or two (The car was heavily overboosting and impossible to drive over 4,000rpm if the engine and turbos were to live). That was fairly hard to live through; a year spent waiting on the car to arrive and pass inspection (Three times), to be stuck to under 5,000rpm and no boost was possibly the hardest thing ever. Look forward to meeting up with you guys in the future!
