  1. Its all good found this clip on youtube on how to take the realese bearing out just a simple as sticking a flat head screw driver in a giving it a twist. got the box out but still got a question should i get a new lightened flywheel or get this one machined? it will be used in hillclimbs

Just putting a new clutch in everything going really smooth untill everything was undone and the gearbox was coming of ok and then just stopped and wont budge can see the flywheel teeth but wont go past this point. didnt wanna force. I think it is something to do with the pull clutch setup can someone help out with this what do i need to do? Car is just currently hanging 4 up in the air on the hoist and the tranny chilling on the tranny stand half out.
  3. yes ppl if you have done it post it if you havent keep you trap shut unles you are writing a valid question keep all opinions to your self, also it said on the first page i think about getting them balanced befor install by a turbo shop just to be on the safe side would like to hear more on this and if anyone has had a failure after this has been done? and yes there is alot of history on the ebay turbos when you search but like what was previously said alot has changed over the years and most of the threads are old.
  4. look i would not use one myself but this topic is about ppl and there experiences with them and if you going to ask them to post up about their car then go abuse them when they do because the used one of these turbos defeats the whole purpose, and writing they are just junk and not explain just don’t cut the cake i know they can be junk but some ppl have had good experience with them, and i do take my hat off for the ppl that are the ginnypigs for these things. But im thanking the ppl that have posted even though they just get pushed back down after. and we want to inform these ppl that want to buy their $200 turbo of eBay, if we all just say they are junk it’s not really solving the problem and this topic will always keep popping up because every young pimple faced teenager who just bought his skyline wants that magic 600hp car. by all means post up your experiences but don’t put down the ppl that are using them that post, if they think its fine that ok it’s their problem not yours.

  6. ok what is u guys problems, this topic is about ebay turbos not about u giving the ppl shit that have them we asked what and how there ebay turbo is going, so u keyboard bandits go take a walk because i would sure as hell snot u in the face if i saw u out, if they want to spend $150 on a cheap turbo so be that its not your problem and by the sounds of it he is happy so stop raining on his peraide. how would u like it if i started calling you peice of s**t car junk and the bits on it? for $150 is better than stock and its lasted so far. the point of this topic is "I know these turbos are cheap, and people HATE them.. I just want to hear PERSONAL experiences.. dont just tell me there shit.. dont botter.. unless youve done it."

Just purchased a second hand pfc and controller went through the DIY read it and understood it cheers it was a big help. anyway tuned ignition on and frezzes at apexi screen so its wrong hand controller or stuffed pfc. thought i would try see if the car would start and it did so cant be stuffed fried pfc. Now hand controller is PCC - first gen And the pfc is PFC GTR33 - no idea i didnt fully under stand all the version thing more to where to find what version it is all i know is the hand controller is the first gen can someone tell me if my pfc is 2nd gen?

  12. i have just installed twin 10" thermos in my r33 gtr but along with an 3 core big alloy radiator and i have it just on a switch in the cabin for now, but they make a differance in response wouldnt be big but can be noticed and the sound is alot better it dosnt sound like the engine is going to lift off at 8000rpm, with the light dimming issue well you should have looked at the power it pulls before you bought and compaire differnt fans and the air flow of them the good ones will tell you the mass air volume they push/pull, as some cheaper fans its like turning ya AC on they drain that much power, do ya research first ppl.
  13. Yeh leave it in is not worth the extra 20-30hp for the chance ya might be looking at a rebuild if one turbo spits its chips, save ya pennys and just upgrade them, with the exhaust from cat bak you shouldnt get any gains on boost but if you do front pipe and dumps you can expect a 1-2 psi rise
  14. yeh i got no idea but if anyone can help would be good and also when i was after some parts one of the guys at nissan reconed it was the 30th anniversary model or something anf had the v spec front bar which was std on my model but its not a v spec.
  15. fully sik i have a ser 3, also i have chassie braces through out the bottom of the car and they look standard is this normal, i have one that goes around the diff ill post a pic up but i had massive problems fitting my exhause because of this and the tuner who sold it to me couldnt work it out and said they dont come standard with them and insisted on it being after market.
  16. GTR r33 series differences what are they just intrested and what years did they change i know the ser2 gtr had the hid headlights and the differnt colour carbon and red interiour but was that it and what did the ser3 have over this?

  21. upgraded my turbos and dumps but forgot what dump pipe is front or back, is it the smaller length dump pipe front?
  22. How did you go fitting do you have std dump pipes i have split dumps and i cant get the intake pipe to fit, also the front turbo intake bolt wont go in
  23. i fitted a cheap shord shift kit to my gtr, one suited for a gtst it fitted ok but the bottom of the shifter ball was to small so i just got the original and stuck it to the one on there with some really good quality glue that melts the plastic together as i wasnt sure how it would go in the gear oil if it falls off it falls off lol then i will work it out from there but these kits are like $50 on ebay
  24. try install it between the intercooler and radiator having it stick up behind the grill you might need to re-locate the horns
  25. the autosalon was a load of s**t i cant belive the low quality of cars there and the dyno well remind me to take my ride on lawn mower next yr
