  1. lol currently 6psi so that means before it would have been 10-11psi anything wif a boost controller means they had hight intensions to run higher boost than stock thats for sure, and 220kw yeh nt a high bench mark easy to achive check out the dyno section for rb25det t will give u a fair idea what u will need.
  2. 280kw in a gtr is a just a few basic mods and stretching ya turbos to the limit pfff the godzilla is the king and maybe you can drive so how about get in ya gtr and do it ya might find out its just the other noobs on the track cant drive for s**T. now ppl keep going on about the gtst are cheap to mod blablablab and the gtr are expensive but i hate to say it the only thing more expensive is it has two turbos and ya have to replace 4 tyres from doing hellies for a start ya dont even have to open the engine up untill 350kw+ just a bunch of bolt on parts which are the same price as the bolt on parts for the gtst, and yes i know there is alot of cheap s**t out there for the gtst but lets see how long they last ya get what ya pay for geee get ya heads out ya arses. on a buget or want just a flog car gtst cheap to 250kw dam stupid and expensive 350kw+ want to go fast with potential get the dam gtr cheap to 300kw+ dam expensive 400kw+ so make ya choice ppl look at ya budget and see what ya want and need personaly i got a gtr but still looking for a cheap gtst for abit of fun drift

  7. mate start by taking all the hoses, intercooler pipes off and vacuum lines then you can see the thing then take ya exhaust off then oil water lines then unbolt ya flang and walla ya got a turbo out. you got it easy i tell ya know ya should try doing it in a rb26 dam....

  10. lining the thing up with the flywheel, looked at the clutches ya buy from the states and they come with the tool to do it just wondering if anyone has got one or knows where to get one i hate using the stupid uni tool i got from repco
  11. mate i had simular prob wif my gtr first noticed it on a trip to melb hit full boost than dropped to half and it would only half boost up after that untill i restarted the car then it was normal again its happined about 3 times now but they have been on really hot days so i just thought it was the ecu in safe mode or something

  14. gee guys ya held off for a bit there while i held up the fight for the mighty gtr's lol, and yes ist like commonwhore sindrome sometimes like i would have thought u gtst guy would know when ya beaten but ya neva wanna give up hell i get it all the time wannabees coming up next ya in there gtst wanting to drag its just no fun anymore.
  15. check ya pipes arnt cracked those old gtr rubber pipes split and its hard to see where also it sounds like afm
  16. mate could be just ya turbo bearings when it sits the oil seeps through so when ya start puff out come some smoke untill it all burnt away i got an old turbo on my l26et if it sits for to long it will blow smoke when started untill warm, the knock i would get someone to have a look at any knock isnt good for sure.
  17. i dont know how you can say that i have a gtr all i have replaced is front drive shafts that was due to hellies and i race the dam thing for over a year now and now my best mate has a old r32 gtr he flogs it and it rund 250kw stock everything but mines ecu and pods some shitty 3" cat bak 1 bar factory boost limiter removed and the only thing to go s**t was an old intercooler hose cracked s**t not $100 dam that blew the bank, and there is one more gtr in town and guess what it hasnt broken anything oohhh and it also coops a floggin, maybe ppl should just look at what they are buying and its like anyhting you get what u pay for.... why dose a gtr need brake fluid and not a gtst and pads or diff's mate all a gtst needs for performance is a RB26DETT da..... when you buy the dam car you look at the pads, diff, ect and if your freshly importing the thing guess what when i goes through compliance it gets new pads fluid.
  18. it all comes down to how far you want to go with the car really, now scrub the $100 for intercooler lol more like $600 with pipes some shitty brand. so the total is $10,200 sry if wrong now 19k is going to buy a 32gtr in good nick, id say if i was paying 15-17k yeh you would be replacing all these bits. so the out come is you have to spend $10,200 just to get to gtst to a standard gtr hmmm it would be intresting to put them on the track together seriously. but ya dont have the looks or the re-sale value. and id thought i would just stir the barrel nt trying to offend anyone
  19. dose someone want to put a price next to these things and see what they add up to? i dont thing ya going to have much change from 8-10k By all means if you just want a fast car on a budget get the gtst but dont go chaseing power, save the extra and get the gtr its not also going to save you money after hours of modifications but when it come to resell you can get a fair chuch of ya money back.
  20. lets hope ya not racing any later model commonwhores or falcons in a 32 gtst now oh and do you know how much money would have to be spent on a 32 gtst to get it up to boggie 7-10k woundnt get you far at all mate i can tell u now once you get to 250kw and wanna abuse it well drive it how you should ya going to be breaking everything gbox diff, internals, need head wk gee the list goes on 10k might get you a 270kw reliable (can drive it hard) with-out the fancy wheels and race seats and suspension so on...........so $9k r32 gtst + $10k = 270kw $19k r32 gtr + $2k = 270kw for the extra $2k i know what ill have
  21. and depending on what model gtr the body is far more ridged than gtst it would cost thousands to get the thing close to handling and performance

  24. ok if you want a car that goes fast its a gtr, one thing i have learnt is it costs to much to make a pile of s**t fast and reliable just start of with a fast car and go from there, if you want a show pony get a gtst but neva try putting it up agains a gtr because it will lose even if you do beat it have a look in ya wallet and i bet you have lost. so if you want to do it do it right the first time spent the extra and get a gtr.
  25. lol yeh but this year i want to win i placed 3rd last year and done alot of mods to the car this year and sponsers have spent big money, and really dont wanna be doing 200 looking at a concrete barrier with the handbrake fully pulled out of the floor i yanked the thing that hard i recon i streched the cable and just pointed the car where i wanted it to go and shut my eyes lol has anyone hurd of a vacuum auxilary tank or an electric vacuum pump? and where to get one
