A Question About Skyline V35 350gt
sethaiyaar replied to Tom0956's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
dont look at dealers yet....next time ur on carsales try a private sale.......but if your importing, yeh you need to do lots of homework....there are basically 3 options: -Buy locally, -Import using an import dealer -Fully independent import(buying and all paperwork yourself only compliance done thru dealer), which is what i did, but i don't recommend you doing that unless your cheap like me -
A Question About Skyline V35 350gt
sethaiyaar replied to Tom0956's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
hey mate, good luck on the buy...best place to check out is carsales.com.au, there are HEAPS on sale right now, and very cheap might i add (which is kinda depressing really ) oh wait i forgot, did you wanna buy one locally?...or import it?...if your importing i suggest you look at the local market first. -
^+1....i dont think all cars can pull of stuff like that, i mean be happy with the ...ooohhh so sexy front you got it with!, dun try tarting it up and making it look like what its not/cant never be....unless you do a front end conversion, like the R35 estate (r35+stagea), that looked crazy cool. but even for looks, i think not all colors can pull it off, ive seen a silver one, doesn't look as good as the red.

hmm, not to sure about that paul, i mean when its printed full size i think it will be quite large, especially since it will be put against a black background it will be just like natural text...i mean the target length we sld aim for is 3-5meters. plus the curly font one generated the most interest in the polls......dw keep at it smhow there is not need to rush it, im pretty sure we can find a way.

just bring this topic back....umm about not being able to print, why dont we do the logo in two parts....why in teo parts?...well if you observe the logo closely "club aus" is actually 'on top' of the 350gt a bit. Part 1: we can print out the 350GT part, for the grey bit we can put an outline around. Part 2: 'club aus' can be printed/cut out from a WHITE vinyl sheet. does this make sence...?

+1^ ..but its just a wide body kit, APR maybe...most probably a custom one.

Speakers Going Haywire!?
sethaiyaar replied to sethaiyaar's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
umm, i dont have the option with the screen, so i only have the CD player. umm ok, so this is definitely not a job in which you can tell me to "try this" and then 'try that' and it 'should be all good?'...because your in brisbane and im in sydney?....and what do u mean its a good time to roll out the radios? -
Speakers Going Haywire!?
sethaiyaar replied to sethaiyaar's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Chris, ok, well NOW it happens continuously, i.e its been like this for days ( the sound being stuck on the right side speakers. ) ...and reading your post i went out and checked, it only happens in CD mode, in RADIO mode it is fine...so CD ONLY. hope it clarifies it. -
Hi guys, Ok here is the problem, a couple of weeks ago i noticed when turning left or right, smtimes even when braking, and esp acceleration the speakers started cutting out, like all sound went to the Right smtimes to Left speaker then came back to normal....Now thou, it is permanantly stuck on the righ side....i tried changing the balance but when i change to full on left speaker there is hardly any sound. Anyone have any ideas on this?...or could identify any key areas where the problem might be...the speaker connections or the headunit connections? oh and just like to clarify that my Headunit is perfectly fine, like nothing wrong with CD changer or anything.

^+1 lol wicked looks, but its a little, umm, over the top in a way...plus everything is spaced out, rmber it has to be relatively compact, just think of it this way, wld you want smthing that big on you windows?
-
hey guys, lol had a bit of time b/t study and did this...its my wallpaper atm, thought id share.

I had a look on this thread and they were talking about the exhaust components on a 350z...and said "The OEM Mid pipe consists of 60mm mild steel piping with several mild bends and curves. There is a short resonator muffler near the Y Pipe end which some 350Z owners have chosen to remove claiming performance gains and a more aggressive exhaust note" http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Exhaust_system_overview
-
I asked Midas about it, and they said that the main muffler down the back is so large that removing the mid muffler wont be a huge difference, or maybe not a difference at all....but im thinking, nissan did put it there cuz maybe the stock rear muffler wasn't cutting it. Not that im saying it was a last minute bolt on, just my theory on it. so BLISTIC your running the stock system without the resonator?
-
lol i think it looks cool...plus have you thought that if its printed on a clear background, there will be alot of space, so even thou its big it wont look big but it wont be hard to read...but yeh, just a thought.
