i had a similar thing happen a couple of years ago when i had my vl commodore. i will proceed to tell my story now.. i was going to post a letter for my mother as i am a good son (note sarcasm) and i pulled up on top of the overbridge at strathpine rd at bald hills turning onto the highway i had the tunes going and all of the sudden these two stooges pull up beside me in a white mitsubishi magna and proceed to wave arms around and yell at me so i wound my window up and accelerated down onto the highway at 110 in a 100 zone then i am getting this magna up my arse and i am thinking there are three lanes here wake up to yourself and go around me.. then i accelerated to about 130 and they still sat up my arse. i thought then that i must have really pissed these guys off and that they were after me so i floored it and took the vl up to about 190 (that is what it said on the ticket later anyway but i thought it was only 180-185) this continued all the way to zillmere rd at aspley across from zupps this required some very dangerous driving in which they nearly wiped out a falcon that they didn't see. then we turned up zillmere rd and sped all the way to kirby rd then turned into kirby rd with magna with no lights and no siren and no nothing to tell me it was the cops up my arse. then we got to robinson rd and sped all the way down to the train station at over double the speed limit the whole way before i got a red light and no where to go at geebung train station. all of the sudden these fools pull up beside me and tell me "your f**ked" and then pulls out a cop badge and i proceeded to tell him to f**k off and they can't do that, etc. etc. then they pulled me over basically tried to drag me out of the car. searched my car for drugs and weapons which they found none of. they pulled half the interior out. i asked how they could justify it and they said they were just following me till a marked car came. bvllsh1t. i went to court and i wasn't so lucky as the townsville guy. i got over $800 worth of fines and i lost my license for 6 months. they had plenty of opportunity to come up beside me and tell me to pull over on the highway if there was a problem. but instead they provoked me into a high speed chase. stupid on my behalf for doing it but even more so on there part for instigating the pursuit in such a dangerous manner. i learnt a hell of a lot from this expensive lesson sorry to whige and all but i got screwed over all because i went to post a letter...

the whole top peice which holds on the boost control line fell off somewhere on the road. i had no idea it had come loose or was coming loose. i had to fabricate up a peice for the top with some rubber seals to make it work again and a nut to hold it onto the main shaft. i only had it for 6-7 months and it fell apart. i have attached pics so you can see what i am talking about. i like the valve but i am not sure about the build quality. it is fantastic with the adjustability. just a warning before you spend serious bucks...

i have top speeded all my cars to date here is the list. toyota corona 1980 wagon - 155kph. (4 cylinder starfire - 4 speed) toyota corolla hatch 1985 - 165kph. (4 cylinder - five speed) vl commodore sedan - 195-200kph. (rb30 - auto) vr commodore sedan - 215kph. (v6 - 5 speed) r33 skyline gts-t - 190kph - bloody limiter!!!! the corona and the vl were the scariest and hairiest... the starfire motor in the corona forever leaked oil from everywhere after this.

i downloaded it through alwayssideways.com and it worked a treat. i was getting 150-160k per sec the other nite. orsome. i have printed most of it at work, it is a big manual.

i have had the r33 for about a year and i have put about 9000km on it since i imported it. it sits at home half of the time and i usually only drive it at night and on weekends.

when is this getting drawn? how is this being drawn? i ain't no graphic designer or anything like that either. i think it to be a little unfair that people that do this for a work can enter the comp... oh well... it is amazing what you can teach yourself just by messing around in photoshop and having some imagination... i haven't even opened the instruction book yet!!! ha ha

yeah that's it! christ 14 years ago no wonder i can't remember. very comedy stuff though. yeah metro's will look back and wonder what the hell they were thinking. he he.. then again i could look at what i was wearing yesterday and wonder what the hell i was thinking.. he he

nice one. i can't believe how unfashionable we were 14 years ago. i remember watching on tv the day skaife told the crowd to f-off or something after winning by default in the gtr. classic.

You should have run over the cat. If the owners even cared it would have been inside. Cats bounce off the car anyway. They do no damage really and even a hit at 50kph, most times they will be able to get up and run away. sometimes.. I would have sacrificed its life over damaging my car regardless of what my misses would say. Sorry to hear about your car man. Its an expensive lesson to learn. i had some guy driving like a dick infront of me last night in a falcon swerving all over the road as i passed him and he nearly took out my front quarter panel. find the cat take it hostage find the owner and get a ransom from them for its safe return to pay for some of the damage... he he he...

that is funny!! i did alot of scewing into my box and it loved it!! my stereo isn't finished but i like the hidden approach. it will be all carpeted in grey "frontrunner" and tops made on each side to match up to the sides of the boot. see pics.
