I was chased by a cop on foot down Hindley st once cos he saw a defect sticker on my skyline, i was only defected about 10 minutes before

So with the help of Luke and a few others today we got the gearbox out of my car to try and find out what was behind the bad grinding sounds and gear selecting problems. As soon as the clutch came off the reason for the grinding sound was pretty clear. The clutch centre was rubbing on the bolt heads on the centre of the flywheel. Im not to sure what caused this to happen but im very happy that the clutch didn't explode at the time attack on monday as the result could have been pretty bad. I'll have a look on here to see what i can find but if anyone has any hook ups with clutches let me know. Gonna go for a twin plate this time round, need some thing thats good for 300kw+

Is the clutch out of the car? My gearbox is coming out on Saturday. I'll have a look at the clutch condition, its a extra heavy duty Xtreme single plate with lightened flywheel.

Thanks guys I've got some more footage of a few other cars to edit and i'll post them up in the next day or 2 Well done with the event Tristan, you and the rest of the guys who helped with the event need to be congratulated I had an awesome day even with my car problems. All i wanted to do when i got out of the car was go and watch the other cars out there. That was one of the best mix of cars i've seen out on the track. I'll be at the next time attack for sure.

In car footage of my best lap camera was zip tied to my padded roll cage so its a bit blurry.

Thanks mate, I thought that was you working on Munro's car but i wasn't sure. Like the last time attack my car ran awesome at first but then i started to get this really loud metal grinding kind of sound coming from my car when i put my foot on the clutch and put it in gear and was finding it hard to select gears. I was nearly ready to put the car on the trailer and end my day but we bleed the clutch fluid and i went out again and by the end of the day the noise was gone but i still had trouble choosing gears, so it looks like i'll have to take out the box and find out whats going on but apart from that i had a awesome day and i cant wait for the next one Well done the the GSR/EVO guys for putting on another awesome event

Well they drove mine, My Mechanic took my car through so i dont really know all the details, only what they told me.

Wrong! My Skyline passed Regency with no BOV's when i went through for my engine conversion. They even test drove my car around the block so they would of known that i had no BOV's as the flutters were mad bro! But if i where you i'd chuck a stock one on just in case.

I just got one on my stag Cost an arm and a leg but its strong enough to tow a car trailer.
