  1. You've got your dyno events mixed up Dale, the Pulsar dyno day was at GWW and they do check AFM's there as well as boost pressure. I have my printout from both years.
  2. hey mate, do you still have the 32 in that pic or did you end up selling it?
  3. It all depends how dark the widow tint is, you could always leave it on and if they say its to dark just rip it off. Probably a good idea to take the eye lids off thought, don't think they like things that cover the lights.
  4. Awesome! I bet if you closed your eyes you'd have trouble knowing what car your driving, 120Y or GTR
  5. I'm with ya on that one! this was the only dyno day i have ever been to where the AFR's where not checked. If the next dyno day is held their i wont be in it.
  6. Is that motor for street use or track?
  7. My fronts where nearly as dark as the back window on the Stag but i had to rip it cos i got defected, but i'll get them done to match the rears again cos legal tint will look to see though compared to the privacy glass. 70% to be legal, darker if you want to risk being defected.
  8. Im pretty sure the QFM's are not available for skylines atm. They wont have any for about 3-4 weeks
  9. Cara is right i have the widow tinting brochure that i got when my car was being inspected. Taken from the brochure: The driver and passenger windows must have a luminous transmittance of at least 70% The windows behind the driver must have a luminous transmittance of at least 35% unless they are interior windows The inspector had a good look at the windows in the stag when i was there on Wednesday.
  10. No, MIKE wasn't there. only other stags where Angel21 and YOUWISH.
  11. That sucks to here mate I've got a spare 33GTR gearbox laying around if you want to borrow it untill you get the funds to fix your gearbox you'd just need to use your transfer case with it.
  12. I'd keep your tyre pressure's at at least 30 psi, if its a cold day or raining you wont get enought heat in your tyres and you'll just slide around or roll the tyres of the rims. Take a tyre pressure guage with you and when you start to push the car hard for a few laps then check the pressure, try to keep it about 30-36psi. I doubt you guys will see much of a pressure increase as this couse is only a beginer thing and you wont have helmets so i doubt you'll be able to push your cars very hard.

  14. spotted chef stag on hindley street tonight and a gray R35 GTR on brighton rd on my way home at about 12
  15. Im not much of a fan of 31's but yours made me want to touch myself in naughty places. Love those rims
  16. Awesome day! Thanks to all the people who made it happen It was also good to see so many SAU members attending. Very happy with my result and well done to all those that entered their cars
  17. Just have a look at my rims 2moro, they have 235's on them. I wouldn't run stretched tyres on a GTR though as it will make the rims look skinny, best to fit as wider tyre as you can to help fill the guards.
  18. spotted SIR R32 on Brighton rd today after work.
  19. Good to hear man! Enjoy driving that thing around
  20. Is there an award for having the loudest car?
  21. My car was the only one being inspected at the time. The guy was nice, he did the whole inspection in half an hour. Both of my tie rod ends where loose as f#@k and he still passed me.
  22. When i rang the number to book into regency the guy asked me where i lived then asked if i wanted to go to the new place at Lonsdale. There only open for defect clearances on Wednesday and Thursdays atm.
  23. lonsdale.
  24. Big thanks to all the people who offered/lent me parts to get off defect, I had my inspection today and passed
  25. Lonsdale was a breeze today, but the guy who did my car said they do look over skylines etc a lot more than they did my car. Because the hard suspension people put in them causes more problems with suspension parts and can also cause cracks in the chassis and firewalls.
