  2. Just show up. Its a good idea to get there pretty early so you can sign in and get set up.
  3. This is the 26 in my GTS4. Oil catch can is only temp, will get a better set up soon.
  4. Last prac day i went to had about 5 sessions of about 6-7 laps, it just depends if there are things like oil spills on the track etc etc. You dont have to do every lap of the session, if your car overheats you can pull into the pits or drive a bit slower just dont get in the way of other cars. When i come into the pits i do a few very slow laps of the pits to help the car cool and dont hold with your foot on the brake's while they are hot. Overtaking is allowed on the straights, but is not permitted under brakes. I recommend that you have new brake pads or near new, as last prac day i had to drive home with no rear pads left and take a tyre pressure gauge as you will need to adjust the pressure when the tyre's are hot. Pressures will jump about 4-6 psi or more.

  8. I think i better look into getting some of those baffle plates and I'm thinking of putting the battery in the boot to i can fit a decent catch can setup in.

  10. Spotted this car on my way home from work today, made me lol so hard. you cant see it very well in the pic but it had twin cannons on it
  11. You need about 1/2 a mile or more for a drag strip as the fast cars need a fair bit of road to slow down.
  12. No baffles, and yes i did overfill. Filled it to the top of the H on the dipstick and i tried not to rev past 7000rpm but i hit the limiter at 8000rpm a few time when the wheels decided to spin coming out of corners in second gear.
  13. Thanks mate, I was pretty happy with my times in the first session, times just started getting slower after that as i had to turn the boost down because of high knock readings. Stoked that i ended up 10th overall not to bad for a street car that i drove to and from the track. I would also like to say thanks to Catford and everyone who was involved in running the day, I got to see all the running around you guys did and i was very impressed with how the day was run I cant wait for the next time attack.
  14. Just running a 100% plumb back setup cutting into the breather lines just before they enter back into the intake system.
  15. I decided to fit an oil catch can before i went to Mallala on Sunday, just one of those cheap ones from ISC. This is how much oil was in it after just one day at the track.
  16. Well Mallala doesn't have a drag strip for starters.
  17. Well if your starving you engine of fuel, you risk it running lean and melting your pistons like i did in my old RB20.
  18. I posted this in another thread and thought i should pop it in here as well. It happend on Friday night. Also spotted me getting chased down by the popo last night and getting pulled over. They had a report of a car like mine excessively speeding somewhere, so when i dove past them parked on the side of south road they gave chase. They asked if i was the one speeding and i said no. Checked my licence, rego, etc etc, but didn't bother looking under the bonnet and didn't say anything about the half cage and semi's on the rear.

  20. I had a bosch 040 in my car before i upgraded to a nismo. It held up fine with 230rwkw and im sure the could take a lot more, mine was just held in with a hose clamp. I still got it laying around if decide to go for one.
  21. Thanks, and yes they are genuine 34GTR rims. Just had the guards rolled and I'm running 235's with no rubbing at all.
  22. It was a good day out at Lala today. I set a new PB time of 1.21.25 in my first session after that it was to hot for my car and i was getting bad knock readings so had to turn the boost right down and it was still pretty bad and thanks for Luke for coming out and having a look
