  1. He ran wide on the fastest turn on the track and put two wheels in the dirt, it started to slide and he over corrected it and pretty much went head first into the padded section of the wall, i wasn't in my car at the time and the sound of the car hitting the wall was pretty bad. The other side of the car looks much worse, it looked like the front left wheel was pushed back a bit its hit so hard EDIT: Pic removed by request - heslo
  2. Well today was pretty action packed at Mallala, It started off with me not getting my helmet approved cos i had a big scratch on it but andrew helped out by getting his girl to bring down a spare. Thanks Andrew First practice, some poor guy in a Evo 9 (i think) smashed his car head first into the wall and ended up in hospital, pretty sure the car is write off Dale ended up taking out 2nd place overall in the Modern Regularity. Pretty good for his first time at the track Andrew, had a bit of trouble not going under 1.20.00 did it once and got a warning He also blew out a rear brake line which cut his day a little short. My car went strong all day and i got a best lap of 1.21.77 Will see what pics i can find and will post them up soon.
  3. My car is almost ready, just have to mount the fire extinguisher and im good to go, will see you boys just before 7 Good to hear that all went well Luke, Cant wait till we can all go out there together
  4. CARS & KARTS Saturday 7th February Saturday 4th April Saturday 16th May Saturday 27th June Saturday 1st August Saturday 5th September Saturday 28th November
  5. YES! Me
  6. Im pretty keen on this still, I don't have a cams licence and im not a member of a car club, so let me know what you can do
  7. I have got hold of a R33 front left inner guard that i will cut the vent out of and rivet it behind my cooler i just ran out of time.
  8. OK, I just got off the phone with Dale and he has made a few calls and found out that we can enter Modern Regularity on Sunday if we can get a few people interested, as they are low on numbers at the moment. Sunday will be a lot cooler so it would suit us better. It will cost about $115 plus $25 if you dont have a cams licence. Here is some info on Modern Regularity If anyone is interested please let us know and Dale will see if we can get this happening. Cheers, Chad.
  9. Finally got my oil cooler fitted and finished http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...75#entry4412075
  10. I finally got around to fitting my oil cooler and remote filter, it took longer than i thought to install, but im happy with how it turned out
  11. Since im not going to Mallala tomorrow, i'll come to this instead. Is it still ok if i pay and fill out a form on the day???
  12. Im out. Sorry guys. Its to hot for my liking, not worth risking my motor. I might see ya's out there next time. Good luck
  13. Good stuff should be a great day with all the RB26's hitting the track. I gotta take my car down to work now and fit the lines for my oil cooler and raise my front suspension a little, then tomorrow im getting a wheel alignment , fit the roll cage and i'm all ready
  14. Maybe i can fit my 19 and 20 inch rims off my hilux onto my car, would that be bling enough??? :laughing-smiley-014: or would i have to ask for permission from the rest of SAU first
  15. Yeah 316 on 18psi I never said my engine was legal but it would be very hard for a officer to find the bits that aren't, even regency didn't find my P-fc d-jectro
  16. I dont blame you with all the captain bringdowns on here. Well it seems your not allowed to have a display for Skyline/Stagea's only, I could of sworn this was Skylines Australia Maybe some of these people should of organised their own display!!
  17. Tyre fitment FTW!!! none of this stretched tyre nonsence, 245/40/18 and no guard rubbing thanks to my little friend a hammer
  18. If i cop a defect i'll only be mad at myself, as all the mods on my car are there cos i wanted them. I'll only be compassionate if its not a worthy defect. The most I've been defected for is a loose air filter, My engine conversion is regency approved so that i can avoid defects. I went through a defect station at the bay about a month ago and came out sticker free. I do my best to keep my car legal or at least look that way, so for those that don't mod their cars in that way there's no one to blame but themselves. *end rant*
  19. I think you get one if your with Shannons as well
  20. Hey cheers, i remember Seeing you, car looks nice dude
  21. It really makes me laugh when i here this, people think that cos there not doing anything wrong that it is wrong if the cops give them a defect If you mod your car illegally, then you deserve to get a defect at anytime. Just cos its a cruise for charity is no reason for people to get away with driving a defectable/dangerous car.
  22. best to set your pressure's at the track when the tyres are hot and change the pressure to get the best traction.
  23. I might end up coming to this as it looks like it might be to hot for Mallala on Saturday, will see how the weather turns out. Should be good seeing all the Skyline in the Skylines Australia display
  24. I hope your not planning on keeping your number plate there, they have to be 300mm from the ground.
