  1. Z31's are horrible*. *Unless you can find one with anRB20 in it. In which case it is cool.
  2. A few photos from the Wanneroo round of the Speed Event Series a week ago.
  3. Something pretty cool. http://www.redbulletin.com/int/en/sports/daniel-ricciardo-speed-merchant Shame he couldn't have a good go. Anyway channel ten still suck.
  4. Usual suspects are air in the attessa system or wear in the clutch plates of the attessa system. There are plenty of threads on this so try a search.
  5. Singapore itself is better than the Singapore GP. Best place to watch it from is the pool at the Marina Bay Sands hotel. Avoid the stand on the shoreline above the soccer field as you cant see shit from there. Other places are ok - best is probably turn 1/2.
  6. Yeah well its the way ch 10 is going. Like the rugby tour last year. They showed the Wallabies versus Wales, Ireland etc but the last and most important game - vs England they didn't broadcast. Just shedkhantery on a massive scale. Fkn too cheap to do anything properly thereby preventing someone else from doing so. As much as I hate Rupert and his minions I don't see an alternative. Paying almost as much for a interweb connection and hit/miss streaming isn't exactly a winner of an idea either.
  7. How do you tell. No idea to look at you cant. Tuna said cas was fkd and sold me a new second hand one. Incidence of coughing went from frequent to almost never.
  8. Nah was good second hand.
  9. A new deal between Fox Sports and Network Ten that will see just 10 Formula 1 races shown live on free-to-air will start this season. Statements announcing the five-year agreement confirm that the subscription service will carry live coverage of practice, qualifying and races from this season. Ten of those races will also be simulcast live on Network Ten, which had exclusively hosted F1 in Australia since 2003. The free-to-air station will continue to broadcast all sessions from Albert Park’s Australian Grand Prix as part of the agreement. The 10 races that are exclusively live on Fox Sports will be seen on Ten’s sub-channel One HD in 60 minute highlights form at 9:30pm on the following Monday. So to conclude. Murdoch can go eat a d!ck. So can channel 10. Actually particularly channel 10. Don't sign contracts to not show sh!t just so you can broadcast endless repeats of mash or the home shopping channel or whatever other steaming load of crap you have dredged up from somewhere that people give no fk for. No wonder your going broke. Just hurry up and get done with it instead of fking everyone about. Nobody watches highlight packages of motor races. They are inherently sh!t. List of races channel ten will be showing - amazingly they are all the sh!t ones. Australian live broadcast schedule for 2015 Formula 1 World Championship 1. 10. This is in all probability what has happened. Yes it should get redone - but budget that and if the numbers stack up and the car is still good why not? Link to car?
  11. Think it is $50 a month for the sports package. NFI what is n it F1, V8, EPL & Union? If it covers that lot would almost be worthwhile. Couldn't see myself ever bothering to watch a practice session, however.
  12. Some cars (Not, for example GTR's) have pads similar to the normal brake pads the handbrake works off. Pulling it on when you have hot rotors doesn't do the rotor much good. A lot of Nissans have an old school internal drum style handbrake and it really doesn't matter so much. But yeah drive a couple of hundred metres slowly to nowhere before you park up. Helps get the worst of the heat out of the rotors etc.
  13. Pull the mounting bracket out. Weld up the hole and redrill the front mount point lower. This is effectively the Nismo bracket. You then don't have to worry about the centre bearing and you can just run a normal arm which you can also shorten if you want.
  14. Worth a look. http://www.motorsportmagazine.com/race/sports-cars/poll-your-favourite-nissan-racer/
  15. Reflected in the price. Which is?
  16. Did this. Diff stfu by the stated 85%. $100 well spent. Cheers.
  17. I used to have the same. Batteries die when they stay low on charge. Easiest fix was to go down to supercheapauto (or similar) and get a solar panel trickle charge thingo. http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/SCA-1-5W-Solar-Trickle-Charger.aspx?pid=292829#Recommendations Problem solved.
  18. If it is bouncing a lot then the shocks are not controlling the body motion. If it is bottoming the chance are you have too much low. If you had Bilstein before then why not get more of the same. Find yourself a spring rate you are happy with for front & rear, check with Bilstein that its in the range of the shock, buy the bits you need to put 10" Eibach 65mm springs on the dampers and that is done. Sway bars need to match the spring rates. Problem being they all quote different numbers. But look at Nismo if they are available at reasonable dollars. Also Cusco but they tend to be well hard. I hate rose joints and bracing as most of the stuff sold is useless. There is nothing wrong and a lot right with decent bushes. Don't guess that stuff is flogged. Get it up on a hoist and look.
  19. I think when you talk about forged internals you really just mean a rebuilt motor. Yeah sure most people use forged pistons as they are cheap these days but for 300kW there is nothing wrong with Nissans pistons. In fact their ring package has much to recommend itself. Anyway old story: Buy a nice one. If it has a rebuilt motor, good. If it doesnt thats fine too. But buy the car, not the spec.
  20. Hear Marussia may be on for a comeback but not Caterham. Heard very little of Williams pace in testing only cars you wouldn't expect being quick. By which I mean Ferrari. And Sauber.
  21. List is a bit random. You have, for example, an expensive brake pad with a cheap rotor. I would, randomly, recommend: A 2 piece front rotor, Dixcel or Project Mu. A pad of similar capability to the Ferodo DS2500 for the front and a similar friction coefficient for the rear but not a DS2500 at the rear as it promotes rotor wear when cold. Get some neg camber for the front suspension. Get some anti roll bars. Standard mounts are fine at that hp but Nismo is ok too if you are replacing them. Ohlins are expensive for what you get. "Solid" suspension just about anything is a wank and an annoyance on a road car. They just make the car go clunk and not much else.
  22. http://www.mclarenstore.com/stores/mclaren/products/product_details.aspx?pid=145869 Compared to http://www.mclarenstore.com/stores/mclaren/products/product_details.aspx?pid=157682 Also not happy to miss the M6B shirts. Only XS left. NFI why they used Donohue's car rather than Bruce's M6A.
  23. Just like last years then. Still, atleast they have gone away from dayglo orange shirts. Shame about not having any sponsors. Paint the car orange you worthless fkrs.
  24. Found with A050's. Limiter bash. Sidestep clutch. Bog engine. Chug away. Swear. Repeat. Also they don't appear to mind being cold.
