  1. Also - RWD boys - Lee Wilson was at HSV day last weekend in his R33 GTST. He's now running 1.21's - so get your act together
  2. I put a hydraulic handbrake into my car and had the same thing. It seems the handbrake killed my master cylinder. In the end I found the handbrake was really hard to use - I ended up bending two handbrake bars as I had to reef on the handbrake so hard to get it to lock. So I since pissed the hydraulic system off and use good handbrake shoes (am currently using the URAS ones but have also tried the Project Mu ones and they seemed even better). But upgraded handbrake shoes definitely seems to work much better on a skyline than a hydraulic system does. (from my experience anyways)
  3. I'd consider it if it comes with a free detail
  4. Yeah looks like I might be at the WRX round afterall. Just depends if Uncle Ben can get me my car back in time. One day I will finally get that troube free track day done.
  5. Only a little bit. Think positive. Hopefully it's dry enough that I can have a crack at a sub 1.20. Because if I don't get it I'll have to come back the following week!
  6. Oh - and BTW - there is Dutton Vic specific thread hiding in the Vic events section of the forums. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=179065
  7. JT's sexy back has nothing on JP's sexy back. It's a no contest mate.
  8. What kind of docs are you after? You can find most of them here: http://www.duttonrally.com/forms.php They generally won't send you anything other than a bill beforehand and a note saying when you are due at scrutineering. And you won't get the actual event schedule until the night before to stop people practising.
  9. If there was a specific competition for the person who could start the most number of threads about the same topic then Andrew you would win hands down.
  10. Brisby - I have the details still of that big house we hired that slept 13 people. I was going to look into that place again. But if you are feeling impatient let me know and I'll give you the details.
  11. Hey all, Thanks again. It's been great doing it all again. Keira is still under 2 but it is amazing how much you forget just how small and different newborns are. Mum and Zoe are doing great but its a shame I can't spend as much time with them in these first few days as I could with Keira as Keira needs a fair bit of attention in this time that is probably most difficult on her. Hopefully mum and Zoe will be home in a couple of days and we can all start this new chapter together. Hopefully I'll be able to show off the new addition in the not too distant future. Cheers Snowy
  12. 38mins. A new record.
  13. We might beat the old record of 45mins. It's going to be close
  14. WTF you skyline boys letting a rex driver beat you at faxes for??
  15. I thought ferni was the trophy smasher?
  16. Well Brisby the one thing I can say is I won't be silly enough to make any 58-0 bets this year (or for this year it'll be 66-0). The new class structure means you could have a lot of fun if you made it. Infact I reckon you'd be a damn good show for not only winning Class RSB but for possible outright handicap honours. Infact I'd give you a better chance of bringing home some silverware than a certain other white car thats entering....
  17. Another Dutton car for the Renault lovers in here
  18. Yep there was one in Dutton W.A. It was hot.
  19. Jebuz Russ - no wonder you guys aren't coming to Vic. All the coin must be gone! Does this mean the R32 has reached as far as it will go now?
  20. A048's are the worst for performance drop offs after heat cycles. They really do go rock hard. The Toyo R888's are excelent for road noise compared to the others. I'd use these if the car was seeing more street time than anything or if the motorosport I was doing was primarily auto-tests / hill climbs. But for a track day tyre I'd use the DZ03's if I could afford them. But I can't so I use the RE55's as they are the next best.
  21. The A048's are the worst for heat cycles. If they are going to be used for regular track work as well they only have a good 10 or so heat cycles before they really harden up. This fact makes them probably a longer lasting street tyre however. I've used one set and won't use them again. The Dunlops seem to be the best but are $$$ which is why I use the RE55's which are pretty awesome at everything. The Toyo's have amazing grip from cold compared to the others but not as much grip when hot.
  22. Of all the cars you have access to that is the most stupid one with the exception of the one you've given to Mossy. Was Tim that pissed with you winning a trophy in NSW that he really wants to make sure you don't win another one? Doesn't he realise the best way to make sure you don't win one is to say give you the GT3 where the competition will be so high you'll get your ass kicked Anyways - the Vic event schedule has been released. Pretty similar to last year except they now reckon we'll run the events at Winton twice rather than once (If we do it'll be a LONG day) and we no longer do the Essendon Carpark (which sucks but I can understand why) - so all cars all day Sunday at Sandown with apparently another new Auto-test thrown in somewhere.
  23. Yeah I was never a fan of oval racing until last year when we got to race on the dome at Calder Park as part of the Calder Rally Masters. Going flat out around there was intense and that was 1 car out at at time. So doing it with other cars 5cm's away all around you must take some serious big ones.
  24. Looks just like a typical Dutton weekend for guys who are on the podium.
