  2. Note - fuel is playing a part in this. It sure aint on 98.... But I said that from the start.
  3. FYI since you probably don't check out the motorsport section - here's giants car doing a lap of wakefield in 1.04.2s (if you don't know thats pretty quick) You can certainly see the way it pulls. But they are shifting at 7,800rpm which again shows they are smaller turbo's. And here's another around some motokhana's that show's this car is always on boost. If you want to know what's in the car read this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...66392&st=60 I've seen this car in action and it is pretty damn insane.
  4. Before everyone says it's impossible they are basically what giant says he is running (well the garret equivalents) and he's apparently making close to 400awkw's and has a 1/4 time of 10.2s run on RE55 semi-comps to back that up. And I used to think giant was running -5's or something until I saw he's making 300kw's at 3,500rpm which you'd struggle to get with bigger turbo's. So with the right set-up's, fuel and tuning it might be possible.
  5. Yep - smoke and noise are more important than times
  6. He's still actually looking for a co-driver Most of us need 4wd and tricky electronics to hide our inadequacies as drivers so Bris is having trouble finding someone with enough natural talent to pilot the R32 Supercar with him. Which is surprising given the only real pre-requisite he has is - Must Love Gate
  7. I haven't seen too many chicks buy a bra without seeing if it fits first.
  8. FYI - here's the Event Schedule Right Click and Save As You'll be given a copy of this on the day but it will give you something to practise maybe on the drive down if you come across any roadworks.
  9. Work was happening on it when I was in Bunbury last Xmas. Last I heard they still planned on having the 1st round of racing there this coming December.
  10. She's not a ghost is she?
  11. FYI andz69 - since you seem to be going to a similar path to what I ventured I'll give you a quick run down on what I did. Car as yours is now pretty much - 255rwkw's @ 15psi (your running 17psi for your current power) Then I added Nismo AFM's, Sard 720cc injectors and 2530's - made 325rwkws' @ 19psi The added some 260/260-9.15 poncams and made 332rwkw's @ 19psi - but heaps more midrange. But then the stock engine started getting REALLY tired as will happen when you start to push over 320 on a stock engine. Built the engine with forgies and pumped out 360odd rwkw's @ 24psi Is that kind of what you are looking for? If so - go the 2530's and you'll be a happy man. Oh - and if you want some 260 poncams to suit the R34 head mine are coming out next week as they aren't needed for the smaller turbo's I've got now so let me know.
  12. Not selling it anymore. Decided to keep it and keep playing.
  13. All SA70's are cast. However I understand there are 2 types of casting - gravity cast and upcast (pressure cast) and the SA70's are made the latter method. Upcast is a LOT better than gravity cast even though it isn't as good as forged. But upcast has the strength - just not the lightness of forged rims. But the SA70's are still only about 9.5Kgs compared to the SA90's (which are forged) which are about 8.0KG.
  14. If you get GT-RS you'll hate them on a 2.6L engine. It will be lag city. I bet you'd change them not long afterwards. You should either be considering GT-SS (more response - less power) or the 2530's (more power - less response)
  15. yeah my only concern is that they are made differently (cast to forged). This goes back to the fact that you'd think if the Rays LMGT4's fit then you'd think the CE28's would fit too - but they don't.
  16. Thanks mate but that doesn't help me with my problem - mainly being the weds are half the price of the RE30's. (which is a shame as I really like the RE30's)
  17. yep but also if you want 3 of you can set up IR beacons around the track and it can give you segment as well as total lap times. It's very cool.
  18. It's because Jack runs 365mm rotors. If I ran the propper AP rotors which are also 365mm then I wouldn't have this issues. But it is because I set up to run the 375mm rotors from the V8SC that I have this problem. Same as Ben and Aaron have with the Harrops with the 382mm rotors. I think you'll even find Jacks CE's were originally Bens and he didn't discover they didn't fit until he'd already bought and paid for them. So the problem is the internal diameter of the rims.
  19. yes and yes - it's why we like them
  20. Hey guys - anyone out there have a set of the Wedsport SA70's in 18's? I'm thinking of getting some but I need to test fit a set before I order them to make sure they fit over my brakes. I know for example in 18's that rims like LMGT4's and TE37's do fit but rims like CE28's, Volk Challenge and the stock R34 GT-R rims DON'T fit so I really don't want to order something from Japan only to have them not fit. So if anyone has a set and cen let me test them out that would be super. Cheers.
  21. If anyone has the day off and wants to come up early on Friday let me know. I could use a hand.
  22. CDI Sold. New price for SM4 only.
  23. Anyone know where you can purchase TRIAL parts from? You can;t get them through Nengun, Greenline or Perfectrun.
  24. You guys should reconsider your departure time. Seriously. If you were to leave the departure point at say 6am the journey will SEEM so much shorter. I know when we came up to NSW we left about 6am (maybe even earlier?) and all I know was that the early morning seemed to fly past but the time from say after 9am seemed to drag on. It is your choice of course but for anyone that has done a long drive like this I'm sure all would agree that an early start makes a trip like this seem a lot shorter.
