  1. You can add Handbags doing a 1.27.7 in the S15 to that list as well.
  2. Yeah but 1.23.1 deserves a beer. Well done son.
  3. If you want the mines R34 gtr it has HKS 2530 turbos. You don't need a new fuel pump. The stock one is fine. But if you have to spend money so you can have a nice long list of aftermarket parts to show to your woman or sheep or whatever then go the Tomei in tank pump. You don't even need after market cams. Some of the fastest low mount cars down here are running on stock cams with either garret 2860-5's or 2530 turbos and are all making around your 600-650HP. Some of the cars that have put cams in are now going back to stock cams. I had the Tomei 260-9.15's and have just changed back to stock cams on my R34 GTR.
  4. BTW - femno - I'll still be there to do your DT mate.
  5. Un-resolved as in it still wants to blow up above 7,000rpm.
  6. I'm out. Still got un-resolved issues.
  7. I've always just topped mine up with a cheap ATF and never had any issues.
  8. Gareth - it's not full. Give them a buzz and I'm sure they can fit you in.
  9. If you get a tight mech 2 way rear diff you can do it - but it aint easy and there is 11ty billion better cars out there that can do the job better.
  10. PFC SOLD - Price drop on turbo's
  11. So what you ar trying to say is that when the cars talents run out all EVO drivers show why they needed and EVO in the 1st place?
  12. Nothern Corner (turn 8) is definitely 2nd. What you don't realise when you are on the track is that the corner is infact more than 90degs. So the apex is actually a little behind the corner. When you first start out you tend to visit gravel a lot in that turn mostly because you'll be turning in too early as you'll be treating it as a 90 deg turn. Thats something you can learn following some other people around (that know where they are going). Advanced petroluem (9) and then the following one onto the straight are the ones that are driver dependant. I know in Scotsmans R33 GTR which has the same gearing as you that he takes those in 2nd and I take them in 3rd. Mind you this was the last time we were both at Winton so maybe it's best not to listen to us....
  13. Haha - my very first track day way back when I'd been playing V8 Supercars 2 on my PS2 to learn the track and as I hit turn 1 for the 1st time at full speed I was unsure where to brake. But I knew in the game I was braking at the 100m mark and I figured the cars in the game were going faster than me so I guessed 100m was going to be a safe spot for me to start out at. Luckily for me I didn't also try and test out whether the kink was flat out like it is in the game afterwards.
  14. I'm still available if you need a hand.
  15. But if you don't have a passenger seat where are you supposed to put all your stuff whilst you drive?
  16. My time there of 1.35.0 was with standard internals and 2530's with RE55's and stock sway bars - so pretty much exactly the same as you have got. (was even making about the same power at the time). You just need some more laps under your belt. If you are talking about turns 1 and 2 they should be taken in 3rd along with the flip flop. Turn 8 is definitely 2nd and 9,10 are up to your preference. If you find you are off boost you'll have to get used to coming off the brakes earlier and driving through the corners. You'll only understeer at Winton if you dive into the corners too hot. Set-up wise the ideal is around 3degs negative camber on the front, 1 on the rear and as much castor as you can wind into it. Toe should be pretty neutral. Tyre pressures try around 34 hot. Stock cams are fine. There is a guy running 1.33's at Winton with your same turbo's and stock cams. As I said it will mainly come down to doing some laps. If you can try and get to the SAU round at Winton in July. Speak to Scotsman who has the smaller garrets that you (-7's) but otherwise the same car and get him to show you around.
  17. Yeah but remember they are there for advertising purposes only. If they drove the EVO they'd be one of 11ty Billion. But everyone is going to notice a rag top F430. I think in Vic they might use the Exige S and give it a bit more of a punt.
  18. Yeah but he's under instructions from the boss that he's not allowed to try and win. They are just going to look cool. lol So look out for a Ferrari F430 Spider in NSW driving like a grandma and go say hi to James. lol
  19. Look if she wants to clean up afterwards THATS fine.
  20. At least with Simonsen and the Whites also going off you are in good company
  21. Thursday, 19 April, 2007 1.23PM 832 - Handley / Handley - Off on TS13 Weldborough Pass - crew are OK Oh dear
  22. Kaz - BBQ's are a mans domain. Don't even think about it...
  23. Pete - he's losing to 2 x mini coopers and a madza 3 and he's only 1 spot infront of a Hyundai Tiburon. That wouldn't be happening if he was in the GT-R.
  24. The problem is Federal don't yet make (that I'm aware of) a genuine competition street tyre. For what I call a comprimise tyre the Federal 595RS is a great tyre however. I've run on them for an Autocross day in an EVO 8MR and they were great. I use Falken Azien RT215's currently on my daily driver (MY03 WRX) and these tyres are nearly at and end and will look at replacing them with the Federals rather than the new RT615's. Along with the Toyo R1R's these are all classifed as street tyres in most competitions where true R Spec tyres bring class changes. But the motorsport guys (including myself with my GT-R) are using genuine R comps. Most of us that I know prefer the Bridgestone RE55's simply because the grip level is great and the cost is so much more reasonable than the Dunlops. I think a lot of us would use the Dunlop DJ02Z or even the new DJ03Z tyres but at around +$100 per corner more than the RE55's the costs can't be justified. Tyres like the Advan A048, Michelin Pilot Sport Cups and Toyo R888's aren't providing the same grip levels as the Bridgestone or Dunlops and have the same price and wear levels so aren't regularly used either. But for the genuine motorsport guys you'll need a tyre with a UTQG of around 40-60 to get any real interest. I think from memory the 595RS are around 180.
  25. It's alright Bris after the Phiilip Island hill climb Lowthy will be hooked on speed so we'll start to see him at a few track events you can be sure.
