  1. Ok I'm in. Let's hope I'm not paying $60 / corner this time.
  2. Was this Grand Prix weekend? I didn't even know that was you! lol
  3. Everyone is faster than me. I always just change the results to make myself look good.
  4. All people who had contacted Steve before Friday and said they were coming ARE secure in getting a spot. Cheers.
  5. There's NO WAY that was Chris. lol
  6. Who wants to bet Chris is late getting the entry forms posted
  7. It gets diverted Al.
  8. Yep John - that is only the events held by PIARC the club. If you want to know when other clubs are holding events there the only option is to go to each club individually and find out if and when they are holding an event at PI. I know there is an MSCA event (which you don't want to go to) and the PIARC weekend in July. I don't know of any other club events this year. The clubs I would recommend going to a day with (WRX, Maserati, AROC, HSV and FPV) have all had their event at the Island for the year already.
  9. John, PI is..... difficult to get. They have a lot of Bike ride days but other than the PIARC weekends (which usually is only 3-4 each year) there is no real track days at PI other than various club sprints. And even though everyone loves going to PI you will find most clubs will only go to PI once a year due to the costs involved. If you look at all the Vic club calanders there is hardly another track day down there for the whole year. But I also think the WRX Club who we run with were only granted one date this year even though they might have wanted to run a 2nd round. Pretty much to hire out the track for a day will cost you around $20K for everything you need anyways. So then you need 100 people at $200 to break even. And THEN you will have the 75dB noise limit placed upon you as only the PIARC weekend have the 95dB limit granted to them. As I said - PI is difficult.
  10. Hey all you Welshies, Just a couple of important things. 1. CAMS Licenses. If you do not have one we can sign you up for one on the day. All you will need is your Club membership card (you'll need this even if you already have a CAMS license anyways). You can then either provide a credit card number or give us the $$$ (I think it's $89 this year) and we can give you a 30 day temp license and send off your forms to CAMS for you. 2. Entries. The entries for Victorian participants open this Friday. Last time entries opened at 10:14am and all 50 spots were taken by 12.01pm. Thats 1hr 47mins. So - if you want to come to this event let Steve know before Friday or you will miss out. If you don't believe me here is the link to the last DECA event in Vic. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=151753 For those that are coming here is the link for the Vic one for this time around. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=164163 If for some reason your name does not appear on the list when Scotsman updates it and you have made arrangements with Steve before Friday to say you are coming please let me, Scotsman or Steve know ASAP. I will try and get Scotsman to post up the NSW entries before the Vic ones open on Friday. For those that are coming - you better start practising those handbrake turns.
  11. woo hoo - I'm on the list
  12. I think there is one on this car....
  13. Yeah I think I might come to this too. Like many others I haven't ever given the 1/4 a shot before so would like to know what the car can do. Brisby - you should let Sputnik know as he was keen to come to the last one. Send him a PM.
  14. Just looking - that PIARC weekend in July also falls on the same weekend as the SAU (WRX) event at Winton. And that's the only visit to Winton we have for the year. So I'd suggest finding another date - even if it is early 08?
  15. Actually it's Dutton W.A. I'm busy with in July. So yeah I call my involvement busy. However - looking at the PIARC website there is no other PIARC sprint weekends other than July.
  16. I think November is perfect. Gives plenty of time for everyone to get sorted if we are going to try and get cars from all over the place. Plus - I'm busy in July But I agree that a PIARC weekend is ideal. The 2 days together really help improve times a lot.
  17. As of Monday 2nd April, Whiteline and Redranger have joined forces to form a new company called Redranger Pty Limited. This joining of forces is a merger, not a takeover or acquisition. Except for a change of company ownership and a new ABN, there will be little change. However, the Whiteline warehouse have now moved to Somersby where Redranger is located. All calls including stock orders should still be directed to the same contact details as normal however, effective 02/04/07, all new & existing orders and backorders for both Whiteline and Redranger product will be shipped from the Redranger facility at Somersby. The normal Whiteline contact details will still work for a time, but the new contact details can be located at the new website: http://www.redranger.com.au
  18. Stef, Perhaps instead of getting auto box you can look at changing diff ratio's. The TT supra runs the same getrag V160 gearbox as your GT-R but uses a 3.266 final drive as oposed to your 3.545. This will allow you to travel speeds upto 82km/hr in 1st gear. Which is almost as good as auto box as you rarely will have to change gears. I am sure back in Moldova they do things like this all the time.
  19. Hehe - we'll see at Sandown
  20. Obviously you haven't driven a modded EVO. They sure don't lack for torque!
  21. I'll be doing the 25th with WRX as well. Will be a busy week
  22. At least wait to find out if I'm actually going to be faster than you before you go and do this thing!
  23. For those that are coming - this is one of the events we will be running in May. Me Stuffing it up Pete doing it better
  24. Actually we have a guy called miniwog who drives a taxi who reserves the right to come last every time - so you can beat him. Check out some of his driving prowess here - Right Click Save As 14MB
