  1. Dover is one of the great stages I have done. Running it in reverse would have been awesome on the condition you didn't end up in the drink! *sigh* This whole experiencing rallies as a virtual spectator is starting to wear thin I must say!
  2. That's all sorts of wow! Probably as scary as it gets. Good thing they are all ok. PS - Go Captain!
  3. The problem is as I see it that if you limited it to 4 tyres then everyone would have to run Dunlops as they make the only decent hard tyre. Maybe that's not a bad thing for parity sake but it is nice to have the options available to you. With an R35 4 or 6 tyers would mean the OEM Dunlops but 8 tyres would allow you to consider the Toyo's as a option for either one or both sets because they are heaps better in the wet.
  4. If it hadn't rained for 2 days my tyres would have been toast before the end last year.
  5. Given the fact that Lilydale has moved to BEFORE Georgetown I wonder if there will be basically no cleanable stages after Day 0 (other than town stages) next year? And I agree with the town thing. Captain Fathom is a classic example of someone who's first impression of targa was watching the Longford stage and thinking to himself that he could smash everyone as he had no idea it was non competitive.
  6. East Coast in reverse will be sweet. The run up Rossarden will be a cracker and will redefine the term flying finish.
  7. Bali was a family holiday mate. Was a nice one too. Anyhoo - spoken to everyone concerned and unless the car blows up on the dyno then I'm in for Mt Baw Baw. Spoke to Bernie today too who has done some notes for it and he reckons the road is a cracker and actually better than Mt Buller. He described it as a mini Cethana so I'm keen to see it now. Bris and I will go check it out this weekend. Anyhoo - excited to be planning another one!
  8. Yep - I always use the PMC trailers. They are awesome and so easy to use.
  9. Hi from tropical Bali! I'm hoping to make it! It's going to be touch and go on whether Jesus can bolt all the new parts onto my car in time. He's busting his ass turning Hendy's car into SMAUG spec in time for TWP so my car won't be looked at until after Australia day. But if my car is running and Timmy can sort me a AASA passport I'm in for Mt Baw Baw with uncle Troy in the silly seat.
  10. I'd have been keen - but unfortunately I'm going to be racing with Brisby at Spa that weekend....
  11. Does someone have a 35 carbon trunk for sale? I could be interested if so.
  12. Good job Paul! Remember - 2012 is the year of the dragon!
  13. +1
  14. It got to 200! (The picture is too blurry though - because it took around 10mins to get from 190->200 and by then Bris was too drunk to hold the camera steady) And Wooster - go look in the mirror mate
  15. PS - drinking and driving is fine!* *When in Germany, and driving a Volvo at 200km/hr with Troy in the car
  16. Not that one The actual off field one at Collie in the wet! I was going to add the one at AHG to the list but I've remember that was in the TME when you tried to kill me with the tyre fail!
  17. Can I use this as my excuse for those couple of times I went bush in your EMO too?
  18. Apparently there was 11 entrants - but one was ineligible. Anyways - I think they HAD to run this one to show they were committed regardless of numbers. They had cancelled their last few and there were plenty of stories going around that this was going to follow the same path. So I'm glad it did go ahead and I hope they stick around in 2012 and get more numbers. Options are always nice - especially since these events are far more accessible than Tassie as a rule (at least they are for us Mexicans). I might have to try and make the Baw Baw event in Feb. But I must say - if the weather up there on Sat was anything like what is was in Melb then it wouldn't have been much fun!
  19. LOL - I'll definitely let Chris do it then given I also have a roll cage to deal with back there.
  20. Well then I hope they really are the direct drop in versions At least you don't have kids @ school issues tomorrow should you run into trouble
  21. So - what injectors did you end up with in the car this morning?
  22. Yep - agree 100%. I often get asked the question "If you could have any car in the world what would it be?" and I always have to first ask "What's it for?" Because the answer is significantly different depending on the purpose. A Sunday cruiser, daily driver or tarmac rally car would have 3 very different answers.

    Need Help

Edit - I asked around and apparently they do a lot of work on WRX's.

Honestly never heard of them. The only Victorian GT-R "Specialist" is Racepace in Bayswater (they ONLY do GT-R's - nothing else). But there are a number of other work-shops around that do some work on GT-R's. Just can't say I've heard of these guys before.
