dark from these forums took the pic. He has some skills in getting motorsports shots. I find too many MS photographers try to take up the whole image with the car. Sometimes if you can see a bit more track and surrounding I reckon you get a better feel for what the car is doing. This was another he took from the same run.

Haha - John I think it's because this is an Autosalon event afterall so we are all just trying to get into the Autosalon spirit! I mean how many of the cars do you think that will be there won't have at least some stickers on them. My guess is not many. Why else would your entry also require you to send in a pic of your car. LOL

I don't suppose anyone out there has any idea's on the classes for this competition since they make reference to "unlimitted class" in the mail thingy they sent out.

John - isn't your best time 1.07.7 ON SLICKS compared to giants cars best time of 1.06.6 on semi's? Or has that time of yours changed? I know Marks Winton time was 0.4s faster than mine at Dutton last year but I'm sure we have both done more to our cars since then so I'm keen to see how our cars compare now.

No - the guy with the silver rex is in QLD currently and his name is Funboy. The guy next to Daniel was Jack. Hell - you can even see him in the video driving the yellow 240z. lol

Well Pete - my plan is to get there on the Tuesday night so I can have a learn of this track on the Wed. So if you want to come up to the cabins on Wed night we can have a few largers and prepare and nice friendly SAU welcoming committee for Russell and Mark. :P :)

That's if my car holds together - or if I'm not black flagged. I mean this was my car 10 days ago and since then it's just sat in the garage. lol But so far of all the cars I know entered which include me, Russ, the black EVO and Notaris in the Dutton Winning EVO, John in the 300zx - they are all pretty serious cars. Then there is Pete. Still working out how there were no faster Victorians than an R31.....

Well I'm apparently the only car from Vic which bodes well because so far from what I've seen no one in NSW can drive.

Thanks Daniel. For everyone else you can come to the club meeting tomorrow night to watch it on the big screen. I can tell you it's better than anything I have seen from any of the commercial DVD's out there.

From what I've seen the shortest way around wakefield is through the dirt isn't it? Isn't there one corner that everyone cuts?

Thats ok - the curb weight of my tow car is close enough to that.

Can't drive it as wife and daughter want to come along for the trip. And the GTR isn't baby friendly - especially for an 8hr drive.
