I used to and still do have this problem when I first put in new pads. I use the Ferodo's and the problem is I don't seem to be able to bed them propperly on the streets. But when I first go to the track they initially get worse before they get better. I have heard it may be due to a surface resin build up that can occur in the slots of the rotors from the new pads but haven't had it confirmed by anyone. All I know is that they can take a good 3-4 sessions to bed in and thats on a hard braking track like Sandown and Calder. At Phillip Island I couldn't bed them in at all. And all this is despite me doing some heavy street stops as well beforehand. But eventually it does go away for me - although the 1st few sessions to a day on the track is damn rough in the car!

Guys, A quick heads up on our 2006 Motokhana Dates as part of our clubs Motokhana Championship. At this stage we have booked all four events at the DECA facilities in Shepparton but we are looking into some "local" alternatives to maybe change one or two of the events. But the dates for the year are: Round 1: Saturday Feb 25th Round 2: Saturday May 27th Round 3: Saturday Aug 26th Round 4: Saturday Nov 18th Sup Req's and Entry forms will be posted up about 1 month before each event. 15psi is why you are making 252rwkw's. To get upto 300kw+ you'll need to increase the boost to 19-20psi. My car on stock turbo's at 15psi was making 255rwkw's. The N1's are basically the same just a steel wheel which should be able to hold more boost. If you have stated 15psi as a max then the power you have got is what you should expect. If you want more power wind up the boost. Cheers.

Yeah they take 4-5 weeks normally unless you give them a call to hurry them up. And I'll be upfront in letting you know that it was also about a week after DECA before I actually got around to posting them all. Anyways - Bris I'm still going down. Considering there has only been 3 Dutton Rallies and 2 were won by an EVO3 and the other by an EVO 8 he was lying. It might have been in a Dutton Rally. It might have won a stage. But it didn't win the rally. lol

Just quickly - don't expect that you'll be "saving" $10K when you buy an R32 GT-R. 99% of them going around it seems needs an immediate $10K spent on them to get the engine running soundly again. But as far as practicality goes I can't see any difference. I think they are all non-practical for a daily driver! lol

I won't get into the arguement of whether there should be bans on cars or not but if they are going to impose limits there are better methods than just saying No turbo's or V8's etc. IMO even a set power / weight isn't right. In motorsports classes are worked out by engine capacity - but forced induction cars have to have a multiplication factor of 1.7. So a 2.5L GTS-T = 4.3L as far as its motorsports classification goes. But it does show even in motorsport classification how much extra emphasis is made on forced induction. So if there are going to be limitiations on cars driven I can fully underdstand why FI cars come under scrutiny. But as far as giving the right answer it's pretty hard as there are always exceptions when you try and use basic rules. But if you think more power on the roads means you can get out of tricky situations easier and therefore its safer you have a serious amount to learn. lol
