  1. I can put it in the SAU Vic member deals section but then the poster won't be able to access it.

Yep - the Volks are still in the club. They will now just get the chance to spin a lot faster than Golgo was ever going to allow.

  6. I've heard good things about G&D Performance - not from an SAU member but from one of the Fang Artists who's a bit of a pioneer. If I was you I'd at least be checking that option out. Cheers.
  7. Hung - given you are using the user name "nonalcoholicrwd" you are already missing one of the major fundimental required to fully understand the Team Wang thing. PS - where's the next entry list update??????
  8. Haha - yeah and don't flick tomato at me or else you'll end up wearing someone elses magarita!! B)
  9. Wouldn't the Island be the hardest of all the tracks for oil surge? I know its a killer for fuel surge! Look at my front tyres from fuel surge at the Island (ABS failure due to engine cut from fuel surge and my consequent lack of skill) But SBS still isn't an issue at the Island from what I've ever seen either. I still reckon you guys up there are just stuffing around with all the GTR's so that you can keep the GTST's looking quick! LOL
  10. Its really hard to propperly practise heel - toe on the streets as its hard to get "track-like" conditions. I've found the best places are round-a-bouts where you can see the traffic coming clearly and if you have a quiet industrial area with DRIVES (you know streets that form like a big U shape) there you can practise during quite times (eg Sundays) higher rmp down-shifts without the fear of traffic coming from the direction of your turn. One other thing to enqure about is what brake pads you are using. Personally I found that having a much higher friction front brake will help stop the rear of skylines coming around in big braking corners. eg - run something like Ferodo DS3000 front pads and RB74 rear pads. That wont help compression lock-ups but will help keep the rear of the car stable heading into corners.
  11. Guys - we are investigating now. we are guessing it has something to do with permissions but we'll be onto it asap.
  12. Click on the "I Agree - Download Now" Button - not on the picture!

  14. pfft - its a shame he won't read this......
  15. Drunken, I originally tried the A048's and I found them to be a pretty average tyre. Basically after the first couple of heat cycles they got quite oily almost and the rubber stiffened right up which made them very hard to get heat into them. The only advantage was it meant the tyres lastest longer but they were a good couple of sec's slower around the track than RE55's. I know a number of the WRX Club guys are using the Toyo's however. But I still think RE55's are the way to go for the ultimate street tyre. Robo - you need to come to the track again dude!
  16. Your best bet with Benno at the moment is to ring him before going down.
  17. MontyGTST = Frunkenmont (sp?)
  18. BFOURU maybe now = pontiff?

  20. Yep I can do the whole thing on the day really - including the CAMS license. Be even easier if you can come to Benalia on the Saturday with us all.
  21. Yep - thats what the people who end up having to share a room with Brisby end up doing as well.
