  1. So my wife and kids get back on Sat morning after a month away, I have the same bucks party as Brisby (and Chris for that matter) and my car is also currently in 11ty bits. So I guess I'm out. Will be back and in top condition for the next one though.
  2. I'm going to try and do a few laps on the Friday.
  3. Try sending mail directly to Brenton [email protected]
  4. well it's not like the Adelaide roads have a history of fatal accidents...... oh wait
  5. yeah I think I need to do this to my R50.
  6. Ok
  7. good work Seb - should be some fun.
  8. I remember catching that 11tyHP Porka in the rain at Barbagallo @ Dutton W.A. 2007 and passing him in Blaises old EMO. Was very satisfying at the time! Because DAMN did that car have some grunt!
  9. Specifically after a boost solenoid short term. But if there is an ADM one around I'd love to have a look at its MFD as well.
  10. Anyone know of any local R35's being wrecked? Am chasing a couple of parts with lengthy lead times out of Japan.
  11. Yeah the Vic dealer tested them AGES ago down at PI on a mustang of all things and said they were a bit fail. But you never really know until you try things yourself I find. I mean Dunlop DZ03 M's I though were fail as well but other people love them.
  12. Haha - that was such random good fun. And you can learn so much in just half an hour if you can find somewhere safe to practice your skids. Chris and I also used to have some sessions in my work carpark on a Sunday leading up to Duttons. All this is making me feel nostalgic. I kinda wish they still existed and we could go do another one. Your last car would have been EPIC Paris.
  13. Yeah if you need to do lots of hand braking thing a set of Project Mu handbrake shoes are a god send. They make it so much easier, work consistently (standard shoes overheat after 2-3 in a short period) - and from my experience in GT-R's work better than a hydraulic set-up.
  14. Yeah I need a trip much further north than that. Where the beers have a decidedly European flavor! Because there are some Caterhams calling us to come visit next year that want us to jump in a Spa with them amongst other fun activities!
  15. It wouldn't want to be real low no.
  16. Well they sure manage to have their fair share of wrecks in the W.A. events. Seen some pics of some rippers from this year. But the number of big ones also doesn't inspire you to head west.
  17. How times have changed! LOL They really were some fun days.
  18. Well take Ayres out of the field too and EM is there for the taking next year.
  19. Indeed. I shouldn't have sold the 34 with Blaise and Adam now out of the EM field! LOL
  20. Agreed. Did you find out any dates for next year by chance?? I was also watching FIA GT3's on Speed during the week and they were racing at the Slovakia Ring - needs to be on our list.
  21. Yeah but I love watching Spa since I've been there now. It's the one place I really want to get back to. I'm really keen to see this weekend if people can hold Blanchimont and the back end of Pouhon flat with the DRS open in Quali. Personally I'm bummed they are banning it through Eau Rouge even for Quali - where's the challenge gone in F1's!!?
  22. Well in fairness I never did use 6th at any stage! LOL (I could have on Cethana / Mt Rowland but my testies said no). So in a sense I did use the legal version of the 5 speed rather than the illegal version.
  23. I'm thinking about Lake Mountain Serge. I figure it would be a great testing opportunity as we can run over the same bit of road to get some good data and have the time to make some set-up changes between runs. Will really depend on how hard it is to find this little niggle and if we can get the few little parts on the car in time or not. If not I might do the Tour regardless. I did email my nav about it last week but haven't had a reply from him though which is a worry!
  24. Great in theory - however there is the simple little rules stating for WTAC you can't strip the cars like mad for Club Sprint Class. Interior • Interior must remain as it came from the factory with the following exceptions • Front seats may be replaced with cams approved seats. • Rear seats may be removed. • Carpet may be removed. • Stereo may be removed. • Air conditioning may be removed. • Local modification to interior for fitment of a roll cage is allowed. And what I can tell you is that the AC and the Stereo (if I can get it working!) are not going anywhere! What I will need clarification on with these rules is the steering wheel as I currently run an aftermarket one and that may not be eligible with-in these rules. Again - this is kind of the point of this thread I guess. To talk about how we go about building a versatile car with-in some specific rules and yet still make it as fast as we can.
  25. Yeah you can. You can move fuel tanks, batteries, etc as well for weight balance if you like.
