  1. Are you guys all blind? lol. I said - James will be at the Mobil / Macca's just before the start of the Hume at 7:00am on the Sunday. That is the place to meet if you want to drive up together Sunday morning!
  2. Ok Bec - you are right. James is driving up on Sunday morning with his Dutton Rally '05 Co-driver (aka - his mum) and a few others and has suggested if anyone else wants to drive up on Sunday morning to meet at the Mobil / Macca's just before the start of the Hume at 7:00am.
  3. Yeah you missed James. But he's only the President so he's not that important. Also - I have a whole packet of sausages left over from the SAU Xmas BBQ to bring up.

    Thanks SAU execs

Yeah we finished up around 3pm. A lot of people had gone of to BB and the rest of us were well and truely roasted from that sun.

    Thanks SAU execs

Cheers to everyone that came. I thought the day was great fun. I am SUPER sunburnt and my arm is slightly sore after throwing those vortx missiles! lol.
  6. As previously mentioned there will be sausages, chops, drinks and some salads provided for SAU Vic members. Sausages and drinks will be available for purchase to non-members. Easiest place to park / enter is via the lights located between beach and vautier st. Again a reminder that you will have to pay for parking. Fines were handed out last year!
  7. I'll give you a ride mate if all else fails. Mrs Snowman will be there with me so you will be relagated to the back seat Im sorry however.
  8. Alright - I REALLY expect to get the events section back before now but anyways I will type this out again. Southern Meet Point will be the carpark on Beach Rd Mordialloc located between Bay St and High St. Melways ref 87 D12 From there we'll just cruise up Beach Rd to Elwood. Meet :11:30. Depart 12:00.
  9. inasinman - the magnificant Purple GTR you saw at autosalon is owned by the Vic President - Jamezilla - and I can tell you that due to travel plans for 2005 his is putting it up for sale. It is one the best best know skylines in Vic without question cause its such a great car. If you are interested in it I suggest you PM him. There aren't too many better lines around.
  10. Marcus - I recently ask Benno the same question as I have a half bottle of Castrol SRF and someone (aka Roy) told me it would go off. Ben however tells me as long as the bottle was re-sealed properly then it will be fine to use.
  11. Get a GTR and come break gearboxes with me. Its so cool.
  12. haha - I had that issue for a bit in the Vic main section and then on Friday in the NSW execs section. After about an hour or so the posts seem to turn up. Very annoying.
  13. Well if you guys are struggling you can always check out the special sau vic home page. www.sauvic.com I did this out of boredom and discovered it exists. Not a lot of skyline based activies on the site though. lol.
  14. Im going to Canada for xmas / nye (my wife is Canadian) and there I will do a lot of laughing at people because they tend to think the Camaro is the worlds greatest sports car. Will also get some snowboarding in!
  15. Attention Roy: M Schumacher - not present R Barachello - not present K Raikonen - not present JP Montoya - not present J Button - not present F Alonso - not present M Webber - not present Any driver of any talent - not present. JV is a hack. I bet he thinks RB20's are great as well. I hadn't been reading this thread but I will be at the GP! Also going to Monaco next year! I see Brisco has given up on F1 and is signing up with Scott Dixon's team in the IRL too. Also glad to see Heidfeild quicker than Jungle Boy. Would be so bad for Williams to have him as Webbers team mate in '05.
  16. Kami - in Vic Meridian Motorsports build CAMS acredited cages. Be aware - you will have to remove your back seat.
  17. My inbox is cleared.
  18. Found out some bad news. There's no Taco Bills in Wangaratta.
  19. Here's a list of all of our current members so you can see its a decent sized club! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=56140
  20. Well its obviously you two don't drive skylines - so you must drive like crash bandicoots and don't want to draw attention to yourselves. Where as us skyline drives appreciate that crazy driving is saved for the track - but there are also some roads which are enjoyable and challenging to drive within the limit of the law. If you aren't stuck behind traffic - the GOR is such an awesome drive. And at the old speed limit of 100km/hr you were really driving to get anywhere near close to it. The Great Alpine Road, Reefton Spur and the road between Flinders and Cape Schank are also some great roads in Vic. Some other enjoyable roads I have been on include the drive over the Great Dividing Range leaving the Gold Coast to get onto the Newell Hwy and the Road from Smithfield to Karanda in Cairns is another ripper. But the best road in terms of enjoyment, quality of surface, and limit pushing is without doubt Phillip Island Race Track.
  21. Southen Cruise point up in Events section too.
  22. For those that came last year this is in the same initial meeting spot but instead of stopping half way through we will just cruise straight to Elwood. So meet at the carpark on Beach Rd - Mordialloc - located inbetween High St and Bay St. Melways Ref 87 D 12. Meet - 11:30am Depart 12:00pm. And its just a nice simple cruise along Beach Rd to Elwood. My cruise is the most scenic so if you want to come to my cruise all the way from the west I fully understand! lol
  23. Kami - yeah as mentioned the next "real" track meet planned is Feb 5th with the WRX Club. Its a twighlight round - so night racing. The flames will look so cool. But all of the stuff will be in the members section. If you want to join the club etc soon PM me your email address and I'll send you a copy of the form - remember as of 1/1/05 there is a $20 joining fee ontop of the $50 anaual fee so you have less than a month to get in on the special offer and the current membership goes through to Feb 06 anyways.
  24. There are no lap times. There are too many cars on the track anyways so you will never get a clear run for lap times to matter.
