  1. Ok - I can see that DoNNo is special cause he thinks I have 2 gtrs! LOL I only have one and its blue so it would match his bus! haha.
  2. I'm not holding my breath that my car will be running by then. Its hasn't been for the last 8 weeks so I don't see why things will suddenly change by this weekend. Although it would be nice!

  4. Bump! Tomorrow night guys - don't forget!
  5. I'm using a Serck oil cooler - wasnt expensive and works really well. Mine came from meridian motorsports in Melbourne. More details on them here: http://www.m-msport.com.au/MotorsportCompo...tems&ProdCell=1
  6. Man - your going to cause a whole bunch of prospective track initiates to come down with that dreaded disease SBS (Sump Baffle Syndrome) again.
  7. Just read the Motor Mag article. Had to laugh at the "I sucked more than the suckiest suck in a village full of people who suck." I can see if I bugger up that this sentence is going to pop straight into my head! LOL
  8. I admit you are making me want one. But Im also evetually going to want the Nismo update for my little computer thingy - and this has a lap timer. But its a sucky one.
  9. Sorry - Bens last outting was the Jag day at Calder. I know of plenty of quick white R33's but only Ben has the massive GT Wing (off a V8 Supercar). And I know his last outting was a 59s around Calder so just guessed it was him.
  10. Roy - you are jumping the gun. Again. Your doctor can help with these premature issues you have. Something that was going to be raised at the General meeting was competiton within the club. My thoughts were to have competiton classes within the club. Was going to be calling on you and Geoff for input on this etc. But lets tackle this hurdle when we get to it. Right now just keep this as a little wanky toy thread!
  11. My plan was to use a Garret GT35 (700hp) to try and get a similar power/response as that T04R. Can I ask what cams were running?
  12. Everyone is welcome. This is the first offical meeting of the club. By the next meeting we will be taking members but this time around we are just getting together and letting everyone know whats going on. You dont even need to own a Skyline to come down. For those that have never been to the Whitehorse before - the meeting room is the bistro right next to the drive-through.
  13. Yeah the white one with the Big GT Wing is Ben. I havent seen him beaten yet - not even close. But one day..... (who am I kidding! LOL)
  14. Will still fly under SAU and still enter with the Fangers - just be next to them like last time.
  15. Ni - Ash is going to take over for James for this one but he want to kind of limit it to say 8 cars. And all cars to have something special about them. It is the semi-finals afterall so we want to keep the cars as traditional MAS quality cars. But yeah we'll only have one big MAS stand per year - and we'll also have a SAU Vic show and shine day like what was done with SAU NSW this year.
  16. Hi all. The SAU Vic committee would like to invite you all to attend our first General Meeting. The meeting will be held on: Tuesday 20th July Whitehorse Hotel 5 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn 8:00pm This will be the clubs regular meeting time and place for each month (So it will be on the 3rd Tuesday of every month). First up we will be having a simple chat about what the club will be about, CAMS affiliation, member benifits etc. It will also give you guys the chance to raise any points or ask any questions about the club. But most importantly its a chance for a bit of a social get together and to spend time with people of a common interest. Hope to see many of you there. Cheers
  17. Yeah there was some minor sidewall flex happening. But I was taking it easy - I mean I was in the company car after all!
  18. Well Emre I hope it all turns out to be as painless as possible for you. Had a look at the rest of the track days for the year with the rex club - their timing is shocking. Next one is the weekend after the dutton, the one after is on Grandfinal Day (I'll be there) and the final one is the day after Derby Day on the Nov Long weekend (BIG drinking day for me). So that sucks.
  19. Troy - contact Troy (ylwgtr2). He should be able to help you out.
  20. Emre - heard you may have lost a piston. Any truth in the rumours? FLYGTR - I'm going to join the rex club. Their track days look well orgainised. Do you go to the general meetings? I was thinking of going down this Thursday and checking it out. Apparently the Maserati Club is joining the MSCA next year so those track days could get very crowded.
  21. Kandy moved? Where is it now?
  22. Geoff - did you tape the Dutton? If so can I borrow it!? Please! BTW - Roy - what happened with you and Chris and the Dutton? Or is that to be discussed based upon results of your R32?
  23. There seemed to be a few rednecks floating around on the track that day too mate! Damn useless Rex drivers!
  24. I bet it wasnt in a stock wagon! LOL
  25. Top 3 were Ferarri 360's. They would be well suited to that track. But sub 1:40's is possible for sure I reckon.
