  1. Yeah I was at the Whitehorse Tavern TWICE last week and so surely something other than Schnitz can be arranged. Im getting all schnitzed out.
  2. Congrats man! Can't belive you kept it secret you cheeky bastard! And here we were thinking you were having trouble keeping the camera still in the tunnel due to the lada springs when really it was probably nerves! lol Anyways... well done mate. And great pics - especially like the tail shot pic thats in the gallery - look forwards to seeing some more.
  3. The rumours are false! I went down to say Hi to Brandon (beefy) and Cazz and a few others but didnt run my car on the dyno. There were a number of great cars down there - some very impressive STI's, the Oz delivered yellow Nismo S15, a JDM interga, and a whole lot more inlcuding some skylines. It was my first visit to the facilities at STI docklands and I must say its a very impressive set-up. Meshy - the event was posted in the events section. Maybe you should look in there one day!
  4. I got a quote last week from racebrakes for slotted 4000's - front and back were the same price and about $340 each from memory (have it written down at home) 5000's were about $560 - but replacement disks were only $300 or so. The non slotted 4000's for rears were $265. I was going for these as a) slotted aint really needed for rears and B) will wear your rear pads out a lot less. Also - if you aint going to get racebrakes to fit the rotors - maybe check out these guys if you know the part numbers. They seem to have a good deal on 4000's including motul brake fluid - free freight too. http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au

    It has begun

Clarkey will officially be the oldest ricer in SAU soon! Look forwards to seeing it all put together (along with your old zort back on!)
  7. Theres a special quality about frankston chicks. The type of quality that both noof and nismoid like in women! haha!
  8. Go to racebrakes.
  9. Well on Friday 14th I'm personally going to introduce Noof and Nismoid to the wonderful world of 21st Century Dance Club. Everyone has to dance on a revolving floor once in their life!
  10. And they specialise in chatruse (sp?) and shoeberry vodka! I'll come celebrate with ya mate (and no one is to take photo's of me this time!)
  11. Simon - why dont you put some ST215's on the GTR and the SO3's on the E55. And then you can do your own comparison! (If it was me Id still put on the ST215's and drive carefully in the wet!)
  12. I believe troy is going to remove the 700's and put 2 lots of smaller injectors (He'll correct me if Im wrong here). His aim is to get a better idle. At least thats what I understood from what he told me recently.
  13. As far as I know you basically have to remove the front drive shaft. You can't just pull a fuse in the 34. If I need to go to RWD I have always removed the front shaft.
  14. Simon - it was the RT215's I was suggesting last night. Same as Nick has suggested. I've run the FK451's before and thought they were only OK. So would listen to Dave and try the ST115's before them if you want a wetter tyre.
  15. Yeah Im not going to run but will also be dropping in to say Hi as well Brandon.
  16. I have already been speaking to Gerald over the last few weeks about setting up a dyno day @ Ice once they are ready. He said he'd let me know when they were ready to do it. Costs for the dyno day will be listed when we do the event post. If you want tuning costs - is suggest you GIVE THEM A CALL! All in all though its great news that they finally have it running.
  17. Why don't you keep it - keep the turbo - and buy yourself a shitty daily driver (utes are good for that!) Then to get extra cash to eventually get the bigger turbo fitted you can just sell your body. Skylinegeoff will be a nice regular customer to begin with Im sure.

    tyre store!

What happened with BF Goodridge Simon?
  19. Snowman

    tyre store!

I find Highway Tyres to be really good. I use the one on Boundary Rd Braeside.
  20. Thats great news Troy. If the engine is in and running whats left to do now other than put the interior etc back in place? But its also great to see that in the tradition of all good mechanincs the car isn't ready by the date you said it would be...........
  21. Geez noofs story has got out quick! But he's not lookin at a gtr.
  22. Matt - which club are you with? I think a few of us will be there again May 30th with NDSOC.
  23. I would say a nice single - not a big single yes. Aim at being a good responsive car for track but not going a twin low mount option. Be interesting to see how it turns out.
  24. Thanks Geoff - went to racebrakes on Sat and have decided to get Comp 9's ($160) for fronts and Comp 2 rears. But thats off topic....... Will speak to you about exhaust manifold on Wed at NDSOC meeting. Might be able to lend you mine in a few weeks.
