OK - TV wise I have to admit that I was a big fan of the WWE wrestling. I even went to Telstra Dome to see it when it came to town. It all started when I flicked over to it one day and saw a match with a bloke v a chick and I thought "here we go somehow the chick is going to trick him some way dumb and win" I was wrong - instead the bloke just smashed the crap out of her. It was an absolute pisser. So I became a fan.

People - this is stupidly cheap! Get on this band wagon if you come on the cruises and you dont have a UHF radio already. I really cant stress enough how cool it is to have one on the cruises.

Hi there all! Well as covered already Ash, James and myself completed the scouting cruise on the weekend and I have to say it was probably the best day behind the wheel I have had off the race track. It was an awesome area to cruise through. and I would rate the drive itself better than the GOR - abiet a little different as its is more sweeping bends rather than tight twisties (although there is a few tight twisties on this drive) A few things I will add that James hasnt mentioned. Hanging Rock - we went past there as it was going to be our main stopping point only to find that they are now charging $8.00 per car entry to go in there. As a consequence we have decided NOT to go there. However, it is only a short 20 min drive from the winery we will make our last stop at so if anyone wants they can still make there own way there afterwards very easily. There is a big chance I will be going there if my wife comes along on the cruise. Winery The winery is a really nice small winery and I personally sampled both the merlot and shiraz over the weekend. Beautiful drops. This will probably be the best place for photo's for the day as the back drop looking over all the vines was pretty impessive. Stop Points Other than the winery its going to be tuff to get everyone parked together as the various car parks are not huge expanses. This includes the town for lunch. So be prepared to just park where you can as the area just isnt designed for groups of 50 cars to all park comfortably together. As mentioned this cruise was truely a lot of fun and I am looking forwards to driving the roads again. Hope to see a lot of familiar and many new faces for this one.

Shan - you have got about 4% of facts right from MAS so far! It was Emre that killed the dyno with his 2530's set-up. For a while there we thought he was going to be the out-right winner with 340ish awkw's as it didnt look like the dyno was going to run again. (Especially for me who had my car on it for 3 hours straight after and in the end didnt even get to run that day!) And I was told the other day RH9 was sold and is now a street car.

Get it right Shan - Ash borrowed my stock R34 rims cause I had my street rims - my RAYS - on. I keep my stock rims for my track rims which have Advan rubber on. Sheez. PS - NO they are NOT for sale.

Yeah Im entering but right now my car is reasonably stock and thats about to change. I was going to upgrade to some low mounts (was thinking GReddy T517Z twins) but a few of the guys down here are doing some great things with big single top mounts on track / circuit cars. So I know I could get away with a modded low mount set-up BUT if I can get away with a nice big high-mount single.......

Jet was the bloke that had the run in with the pigeon. Definitely one of the highlights of the weekend.

There will be several pre-meet points for the various area's around melb. Eventually we will all meet-up..... somewhere. That will all be decided once the location of the cruise is finalised. There will be a new post up with final details just after easter.

I know a few of you have done the Dutton NSW before and a few more are going this year. I have a couple of quick questions I'd like answered if possible. They mostly have to do with eligibility of entry. According to the sup regs Eligible Entries must "meet the RTA requirements of the state in which the car is registered" Im not sure if NSW is the same as us but this means aftermarket turbo's, aftermarket ECU's, actually it seems just about everything aftermarket is illegal - including things like bonnet pins, carbon bonnets, etc. So I guess Im curious as to what level of scrutineering goes on, or to what extent they allow modifications that may not meet RTA requirements. Or do you pretty much have to compete in a stock car?
