  1. Hope you are bringing it tomorrow mate. Looking forwards to you taking me for a spin!
  2. $310 is damn cheap for tyres! I hate having to take my R Specs off after a track day (I use the yoko A048's) but even though you can legally use them for the streets there's no way it can be justified. They just wear way too fast. But damn they grip once they get hot. I am looking forwards to seeing some reviews and comparisons of these nitto's though. Im thinking though that their first attempt at a circuit tyre might not come up to scratch against the other boys but it would be good if I was wrong.
  3. Rhett mate there are lots of good roads down your way. Go up to Arthurs seat (awesome drive at night with the views of the lights). Or down to cape schank and then follow the road to Flinders. Or for some real fun go through the "middle" of the penisular through the red hill wine regions. The road quality isn't first class but the roads are very quiet and some are a lot of fun in places. But the main roads down through that area are quite dull though.
  4. Yeah I find a MONTHS notcie works really really well. A weeks notcie will give you a fairly big turn out. A full days notice can give some suprisingly good results especially during the summer months. But an hour and half's notice and you are pushing shit up hill. Especially at 9:00pm.
  5. I want to go for a ride in your 600.1rwkw ride that you can't even do a 10sec pass in.
  6. Why dont you just buy RH9? http://www.rh9.com.au/
  7. For $400K I'd have a GT2 thanks. Still - can you arrange for a test drive of this car Simon? Might be fun to try out for a day.
  8. Hey remember mine are just the Tein HA's. Means I dont have anything as fancy as computer adjusted damper! I do mine with a good old fashioned allen key! But it only takes 4 seconds to do. You are still welcome to check them out. Come down to the dyno day tomorrow. I'll take you for a spin.
  9. Yes it is. But Im going to do the Maserati Club day the weekend before at Sandown and skip this MSCA round until Im ready for Phillip Island. And because Im organising this cruise I get to pick the date. :devfu: But Geoff what better way to check your brakes than to come on a cruise?
  10. crack - we will DEFINITELY be doing this cruise at some stage this year and we will be in contact with you beforehand. That cruise we need a little bit more time with orgainiation than what we have right now with MAS and Easter coming up.
  11. No we don't have a problem because we don't allow dickheads. Check the GOR cruise numbers. Roughly 50 cars - not one person got hastled and we did see cops on the trip.
  12. THE OAK - I'd say both the Macedon Ranges and the Peninsular are roughly an hour and a half from the city. Both cruises involve going to a certain area and then kinda driving around in circles for a while on all the fun roads (if that makes sense) - as oposed to say the GOR which is just a long drive there and back. Warburton is probably an even longer days drive than GOR if you do the mountains as well. But the beauty of both the Macedon and Penisular cruises is that you can decide on the length of driving based upon conditions as the time gets closer. But because of their proximity to the cbd we can probably have more stops between runs rather than 4hrs of continuous driving followed by an extended break. Hope that helps.
  13. I have the Tein HA's in mine and for the street I have the damper set about midway and then tighten fully for the track. I dont have any issues with them for either situation.
  14. Yeah we definitely need some more Peninsular voters! Come on guys! Its really nice down there! And MILES from Nidree! LOL - no I'm happy to go anywhere. Afterall it is a cruise.
  15. Because someone put in an Alien gif and I wanted to use it! LOL.
  16. Ok, The next cruise is planned for Saturday April 24th. But seeming as though there are so many destination options we thought we'd give everyone a chance to vote for where they like to cruise to next. 1. Macedon Ranges - Hanging Rock. There are some nice easy twisties in and around Woodend, Lancefield, Kyneton, as well as some FWY cruising. And Hanging Rock has a great carpark for photo's etc. 2. Warburton - Reefton Spur. Good set of regular twisties going through the dandenongs, c0ckatoo, along the reefton spur - then from Warburton we have the option of travelling through Mt Donabuang etc. Long driving day. 3. Peninsular - Portsea Pub. Again a nice cruise down with a good mix of twistes through places such as Arthurs Seat, Red Hill, plus some nice stopping points like the Portsea Pub for lunch if desired and Point Leo for photo's. 4. The Moon. Requires Special means of transport. Very long cruise. :ufo: Chances are we will do all these cruises at some stage this year. But if you have a preference for the next destination speak up! The desitnation will be decided by April 8th.
  17. The $$$ for ya was already in my wallet.
  18. Should we get some strippers or something to make this meeting worth travelling to? :boobies2:
  19. Hey there was a Mini Cooper S Works at Sandown on Sunday and I was totally suprised at how hard the thing went. Was most impressive through the turns. Looked good disappearing in my mirrors down the straights too!
  20. TeeZnu - did someone say discounts on brakes? Or is it just clutches? Cause brakes I need. (Rotors and pads)
  21. Dave that graph is just wrong. It gets to about 230rwkw and then gets steeper! Madness.
  22. It is and at a guess I would say he was a small.
  23. This was done in Perth. They had the 3 km rule and the nesxt gov brought it back to 10%
  24. Adam you have already filled out your form and paid your entry so missing this week isnt super important for you. Just maybe send James a PM regarding the t-shirts if you want any. The main thing for this week is getting all entries and t-shirts numbers in and paid up.
  25. He obviously wanted his car to look like this..... but failed badly. http://www.mish.us/chrome-merc/
