  1. My bordies are already packed! You should have seen the size of the surf on Saturday - serious brown undies stuff. But if the weathers even close to 30degs then Im swimming for sure.
  2. At the top of the main Vic page there is a sticky thread containing lots of really usefull links to old threads - one day go read them! This is one of those threads regarding legal mods in Vic including links http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=15048
  3. Current weather forecast is for 30degs.
  4. Yes I had to hammer to get the thing to move. Kev hated it - called it the kidney bruiser as we had to snap the car so hard to get it sideways. Was hard work. I think in future I will stick to the track! But I heard the E55 was some fun. Kevin should have some pics from the Sunday group.
  5. Was good fun but my advice to anyone wanting to do this that has a 4wd - make it 2wd before you go because its damn hard otherwise! Although you do get to learn just how much damn grip these GTR's have. OMG.

    Da Bitch Is Back

Yeah I was lucky enough to get to see this in action yesterday and it certainly looked and sounded very very nice. And it was good to meet you finally too yesterday INASNT!
  7. For all people that don't want to pay for an E-Tag R31Nismoid and I did a trial run on Saturday to check everything out and we have decided that we will meet up both groups (east and west) at the big BP service center near the Avalon Airfield. If people want to miss paying the $5 for an E-Tag day pass :thumbdwn: then meet at this service center by 10:00am. This will make sure everyone has fuel and that we can have as many skylines as possible cruising through Geelong together. So James - bugger that detour to Torrak Rd off. Its just a pain in the ass. Its far too long a day to be piss farting around. Lets keep the meet points to nice easy area's - Mobil Service Center on the Ring Rd, Mega Mart Carpark, BP Service Center Avalon and Waurn Ponds Pub (Car park is out the backof pub, and the pub is just before a massive Bunnings that has appeared since I was last there!)
  8. Danny your car rocks IMO.
  9. That explains why they weren't there at lunch time. What car are we talking about to guess the mods?
  10. Yeah but I think it would look better behind the benz.
  11. Yeah considering he quoted $800 for a dyno tune, I'd have to agree.
  12. http://www.pulseautostyling.com http://www.jetspeed.com.au/default.htm That'll get you started.
  13. From what I understand yes you can enter in September even if you haven't entered in April. I think its more of an "invitation" for the super ricers section but there is still plenty of normal club/car spaces.
  14. Thats fantastic. That car will truely bring out the effect of Al's pit lane back drop. Great work Sammi!
  15. Don't know how legit it is but worth the effort just in case. http://www.melbournecityvolvo.com.au/freetickets Worth going to the show this year just to get a look at this aussie Joss supercar! http://www.joss.com.au
  16. Just to expand on the "range" idea - its not only a range of skylines (R30-R34) but also the range of presentations. We know there is a LOT of 33's out there so it would be good to get a some mixes from high performance, highly aethstectically modded, basic mods (performance and aethstetic) and stock. Also - If anyone knows any nice ladies that might want to help out promoting the club then that would be good too. (I don't know if you want to start a new thread for MAS assistance - if so I will edit this out of here )
  17. I have one point left on my licence til July and I am suposed to be infront on the way up so I can tell you right now Im doing 100!
  18. I thought about this BUT a pre-meet point means getting there at 8:00am for an 8:30 departure to get to the second meet point at 9:00. It just makes it a long long day - Id rather have the extra half an hours sleep! But if people want to do it then alls good - just don't be late! :flamed:
  19. Hmmm.... I supose I'd better get me one of those cb radio's. Where do I go for those? And I MAY have a shot-gun seat available. But won't know until closer to the time so don't want to make any promises as yet.
  20. MAS is on the following weekend. Still - I don't see the big deal in it being close to MAS!? Im keen to come Al.
  21. 95GTST - After getting quotes from a number of sources I ordered last week a set of the LMGT4's from Evolution R in Clayton (18 x 9.5's) for $1100 each. There are a few different styles of the Rays Nismo rims - can be found at http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/e_index.html - I think the one's you were looking at MAY have been the LMGT3's.
  22. Factory specs on GT-R's are rated at 280hp@6,800 rpm - which means 75% = 5,100rpm. (Not that far from where James was tested) I dont think dropping from 5,400 to 5,100 would decrease the noise level from 98db to 90db so some changes would still be needed.
  23. Simon, 2 & 4 - Ice Perfomance just made me up a custom oil cooler with remote filter thats working a treat and they do some great custom catch cans - all for a lot less $$$ than Japanese brand name ones.
  24. If anyone for the South/East pre-meet needs my mobile number please PM me. I know there are a lot of us coming from a fair way down from the pre-meet point but the idea of meeting there is that it's a very short trip to the freeway so there is a minimal chance of spiltting up the group.
