  1. Tell him to get the C-West body kit and then if he has a V Spec he can give me his diffusers!
  2. Im there.
  3. Yeah but with the MtBuller Sprint on the following weekend Im guessing there will be a number of nice cars just getting a feel for the track. Unfortunately I will be in Cairns so will have to give this one a miss. So I'll sit by the pool with a beer and think about ya instead James!
  4. I think the RX8's are hot. And the convenience of 4 doors/4 seats over a 2 seater cannot be understated if 2 people are going to share a car. Me and the Mrs recently bought the "family" car (Honda Euro) which she drives daily but I drive if Im in it with her. Its been great. I was thinking by mid this year my boss is due to update my company car and was thinking either RX8 or EVO8 (if it gets here by then) sound like good updates. Its not gonna happen tho.
  5. Ash - don't get me wrong - Im all for euthanasia for those that wish it. Im just glad I started slow. I reckon Im a good driver too as much because I had a much great error margin in my less powerful car when I was learning to drive. Because my mistakes were less server I could afford to expolre limits without huge consequences. As my skills and understanding increased I could increase the power of my cars safer. Damn this sounds like a famous PS2 game doesnt it!!? haha! Go the Yaris!
  6. Im well past my P's but when I was on them I was a good little boy...... and Im glad. Whilst I was still having some fun with my little FWD POS's (my first powerful RWD car was when I turned 25!) my mates who had "non-conforming" cars all ended up in either poles (x3) or a tree (x1). And not only did they pay for it then but they are still paying for it now with higher insurance preimuims due to their mistakes. When on ya P's we all drive like dicks at times (cause thats how we LEARN!) but powerful cars cause much bigger mistakes. And mistakes will be made you can be sure if it. So to this day Im glad my early cars were serious POS!
  7. I'd also say the S15. But you are pushing it for the price range.

  9. Sorry to hear. Just to add to the zoo thing - a guy that works here for me had his car stolen from the zoo car park last week. I think something could be said in favour of relocating the lions den to the the zoo car park! Actually thats totally farked. If they KNOW dodgy shite is going on there you'd think they actually DO something rather than just say "yeah we know" As for the pager - the only ones I know of are the boomerang and the blackwidow one available from zylux. If danny can do another one Id like to know about it because I want to get a pager alarm as well. (there was talk that someone was going to make a pager alarm that works through your mobile - anyone know about this?)

Welcome! If you are from the mornington peninsular then Ice would be good for tuning/service. Im not sure if there is anyone decent a bit closer (frankston?) but Ice come highly recommended from many people on these forums. As for cruises well down your way is plenty of them - red hill and around cape schank, arthurs seat etc. If you want something a bit longer coming from south go to emerald through berwick then up to monbulk/mt dandy etc. Ive done some investigating over the last few weeks up around that way for some possible LONGER cruises through there and up to Warburton (awesome picnic spots by the river there) via ****atoo etc. Keep an eye out in the events section for more details regarding these.
  12. Greg I reckon you've done super mate. Nice one! I mite have to ask for some of the high res pics too.
  13. Is that because they are jealous of toothless women?
  14. yeah but a few of our mates chicks dont drink. which mean multi drink cards and free lifts! StKilda wont be that bad for taxi's either - not as bad as somewhere like Together. Its a closer stop than town for those cabs that have had to go down south for drop offs.
  15. We have a similar issue with different people wanting to do different things. So currently we are thinking of a house party to start with and then going to twister! 5 different rooms with different types of music - $35 entry which comes with $25 drink card. + fireworks etc. www.twister.net.au There are always plenty of women of negotiable affection at twister too which is exactly what you need on NYE!
  16. Was there an 040 left? If so I'll take it but Im outta town til after Xmas.
  17. Yeah Merry Xmas Everyone! Its been good meeting some new people on here and Im looking forwards to some more merriment in the new year. Im also off to Perth for Xmas but will be back before the new year. Which asks another question... WTF is everyone doing for NYE? Any suggestions?
  18. The are meant to be the best yes. But parking is a pain in the ass. And at this stage good luck for getting tickets there for LOTR3 on boxing day. Id suggest you'd have bucklies hope. But as stated - Casino, Chaddy, Sthland - there all good.
  19. Well guys I had a great day. My arm is totally wrecked from throwing vortex missiles! Some other amuzing moments included the cop that gave the passing group of Skylines the bird :upurs: Clarky's long ball that accidently broke some blokes glasses. And the idiot that drove over the piece of concrete! Once again guys the pics are fantastic (shame I couldnt have pushed that blond through my window and driven off with her though! HAHA! :devil2: Oh - and Im No:9. And Im quite sure No: 13 was that seagull named "Vortex Target" :ak47:
  20. I wouldn't mind an EVO VIII as a daily driver! The EVO VI TME I had a drive of once and it was a great car - very different to the R34 but still a great car. I imagine the EVO VIII will be better and will make one of the best all round daily drivers/track cars out there bar none IMO.
  21. Hey when your in Rave land see if you can look around and find some of my memory cause I lost alot of it there a few years back!
  22. Ive had similar problems before on my old car. Basically it wasnt my daily driver and if I set the alarm on my car and didnt drive it for a couple of weeks the battery would be dead. So I was never able to set the alarm on my car if it was in my garage. This is why I am considering the Boomerang alarm/immobiliser. That has as part of its system a "voltage" meter and will automatically restart your car and charge the battery if it detects a drop in charge. This can be a damn handy thing if you have a car thats not driven regularly but you want to keep alarmed.
  23. I have Mines currently but have a Power FC on its way.
  24. I'll bring along some bocce balls if anyone wants to have a game!
  25. If they don't have to be identical Jetspeed in Clayton have some similar off the shelf stuff. http://www.jetspeed.com.au/contactus.htm
