Anyone know what the 295/18's are worth a pop? Nice to see another tyre though. Seems in GTR sizes they come in both S and MH compound. Would be good to test regardless.

Well I completed my final shakedown on the weekend and can say this new car is finally pretty good. We found last week a cracked turbo intake pipe which obviously hasn't been helping! No idea how long that had been there because it hadn't been on a dyno since it was first built. We also have finally got the handling balance right so lets bring on Targa! Less than a month to go!

For starters Chris is way faster than I am these days so no matter what he will take some beating (1.18 at Sandown 2 weeks ago shows that). But yeah I think Mr Princess is bringing both the 135i and Big Red. I told him I expect to see a 59 in that thing.

Its in the newsletter "One thing that will be missing this year unfortunately is the Silverdome expo. Due to the large fields we just will not have the room to set up the stadium safely to allow the public in and meet local government regulations". Unless I have just read it wrong and they just aren't letting Joe Public in to look?

Yeah when I did the Rookie Rally we spent the whole day on the Monday in there just watching everyone turn up. It was amazing to feel part of it that first time.

I know! It was one of the things I was telling Paris about that sets TT apart from the other rallies. I love walking in there of a morning as you really soaked up the atmosphere.

If Stu drops in here prehaps he could shed some light on where the cars are staying this year in Launny given the Silverdome isn't happening?

Haha - well they have also just released the R35 GT-R RC which is the equivanent of the Lambo Super Alphabet. over 300kgs lighter than stock and way faster. Thats a much better super cheater Targa car! All yours for $300K

So is TT even on for you guys now Timmy? It'd be a big call to fork out the $$$ required given the cars recent history. And yes YT did an awesome job. YT in the HQ v Glenney in the VC v Weeks the VW will be awesome if it goes ahead at Adelaide.

Doesn't look like Timmy is having any fun again unfortunately. And to top off his bad fortune the new Targa tyre rules have hamstrung the RWD guys even further for the big one.

Yeah its a good fun little track. Next time out we are doing the F8 layout which will be a nice mix up. The car is getting there. I basically spent that whole day making set-up changes and in the end it was much improved after some ride height adjustemnts. We have made a couple of other small changes this week and am back out testing this weekend at Sandown so I will see what difference we have made given I have a base time at this track in this car already from back when it was poo. LOL

A quick run from Haunted Hills on the weekend. Was mostly there for set-up work for Targa and this was the best run @ the end of the day.

Geez - plenty of interesting car movement from TWP it seems. There was even talk of a big fish we know driving a certain white Audi in the future.

Interesting that he bought the old road car rather than the old race car which is up for sale again. But it'll be good to have another GT-R on board. Those pesky EMO's are getting far too cocky in EM now.

Its either that or it was a big balls section! Mind you - looking at his in-car every bloody corner was a big balls section! But I have used random phrases or terms for some corners or sections in the past so I remember them. Nothing as unique as Ron Jeremy - but I did use Cartmans "Respect My Authority!" phrase to note the start of the skinny section of Merseylea.
