I was waiting for someone to say this. There's one major problem with your critisism here scathing - the the GT-R did the 7.29 on the Nordschleife which is 20.8 km's long. It also did this on an empty racetrack.
The LF-A did it on the 24 track which includes both the GP track and the Nordschleife making it 25.9km's long (so just over 5kms longer) and did it on a track with 200 other cars.
So you're not comparing apples with apples at all.
I'm running around with a 2nd hand R32 GTR gearbox in my car that has over 370rwkws and has run and won Dutton rallies which have over 70 lauches along with circuit work and 800m drags over 3 days and its never missed a beat.
Having said that when I 1st got my car I broke 2 gearboxes in the 1st 6 months I had it before I learned to drive.
Yeah 63 cars for Sandown is bugger all so there will be plenty of track time.
The weather looks great too so thats a nice change. Will be nice to drive with some grip! Certainly better than my last few track runs.

LOL - I just looked at the entry list and there is 7 GTR's on there. So I don't know what you're talking about. Not that it matters as they'll all be trailing after the WRX of Clayton.
But are you entering Brisby?
Oh - and does anyone know if the pads from the Alcon 6 pots are the same size as the pads from the AP 6 pots?
Yeah I spotted a very soft light blue Gran Turismo down at Phillip Island last week. I also spotted a BMW Z4M coupe, Z4M Roadster, 2 x M5's 2 x M6's (one coupe and one ragtop) and 1 x new M3 - all of which I proceeded to drive around the track
Well this is the 1st I've heard about the A050's (just looked them up and they sure look weird!)
I'm not sure where you are located but you'll need to contact your local Advan Motorsports Tyre centre - generally there is only 1 per state. (If you want to know where to buy each R comp in each state grab a copy of the latest Tarmac Magazine - it has all the tyres and state suppliers listed)
For example in Vic for Advan tyres it is Traction Tyres - http://www.tractiontyres.com.au/
But I'm not aware of these being here yet so I guess there'd be bugger all feedback on them. But you can be sure when they do come they will be $$$$$$$$$ - so still I'd suggest the RE55's will be the ones to choose.
I dyno'd a stock one when I was looking to buy mine a few years back and it made 178awkw's - so 175-180 is where they are at.
The funny thing is I know of 2 x NUR's that have been dyno'd stock and both have made under 160awkws..... So much for the ultimate.
It's fast.
But super easy to drive. I'm even using it as my daily at the moment even though I actually have a daily car in the WRX. I'm just enjoying driving the GT-R too much to put it away in the garage again.
Here's my latest dyno graph. Racepace -5's set-up.
If this is what you want then go see Ben. If you want / expect even better results on an RB26 then good luck with that.
And because I'm a nice bloke here's a little graphic illustration to help you two hacks out for the weekend.
This is good.
This is bad.
And this will probably get me into trouble.
Hope that helps!
