  1. Pfft - just try not to hit some cones for a change and maybe you won't need to sabotage my car
  2. The most annoying thing about the LCT threshold IMO is that fact that in the 10 years this has been around the cut-off rate of $57,000 hasn't increased at all. And we all know that the difference between a $57,000 car today compared to 10 years ago is quite large. That cut-off rate IMO should at least be increasing with CPI if nothing else. Stupid taxes.
  3. STFU!!
  4. Afraid it is. The only good news is it was his own car this time. The last time he blew an engine up a week before a Dutton Rally it was my bloody car/engine! He's got his hands on another one though so with a few all nighters they should still be in the game.
  5. Yep - co-driving with Pete Blythe. That should be fun to watch as Pete can drive..... entertainingly See the link for some Pete antics @ DECA http://skylinesaustralia.vidiac.com/video/...e9ddd8b8f34.htm and http://skylinesaustralia.vidiac.com/recent...85a7427fc31.htm
  6. Apparently a certain white R33 GTR did a big end on the weekend..... Otherwise I'm good to go
  7. Just a quick word of warning though - I found that the different brands are all a different fit so make sure you try shoes on first. (aka don't order on-line from somewhere) For example the Puma and Oakley shoes I found to be too narrow for my feet. But the Alpinestar shoes fit perfectly for me. As mentioned though they are $$$ but once the bill has been paid you tend to forget the costs once you have them on and are driving in them as they are fantastic to drive in.
  8. 21.394
  9. Don't forget the C Team! (Beable/Blythe - yep Pete is doing Dutton in Jeff's R34 N1!)
  10. Good work Daz Next time I'll remember that bloody ABS switch. Oh and I have to agree with Chris - Russell you are now a RWD gun. Some of your driving on the weekend was awesome. I look forwards to watching you and Ryan go head to head at Masters.
  11. The one technical issue with your fight Daz is that the lock-up/missed chicane was on the 80% non-timed practise run The good news is I did have 2 other stuff ups during the day so I'm no threat to winning the day anyways.
  12. Yep I beat you all morning

    I'm Back

Don't worry - most of them were useless.
  14. Actually the next open one isn't until Novemeber. (we are only running 2 this year) DECA Masters - open for the DECA regulars - is next on Sept 20.
  15. I'm glad he's not my co-driver. Can't drink. Can't drive.
  16. But I believe he's been banned from here.....

    Lockdown!

It's really going to upset the glow-stick brigade since most of them don't even go out til 2am!
  18. Thats pretty much what I said. Sure there are guys like myself, JagR33, archie01, Soctsman, Aaron34, JFKGTR, RPMZ, etc etc (even R31Nismoid if his car ever see's the road again) all with better results on either -7's or -5's with standard cams in an RB26 - but we've all got the same guy with his own secret little tricks that get them to work the way they do. My old experience with the poncams was that the beauty of them was all you had to do was fit them and set the cam gears to 0 and you has some pretty damn good results for very minimal effort. So unless you have someone that knows the secret little tricks you are going to get better results easier with poncams there's no question.
  19. Is that Kennedy? Please tell me you are going to superlap. Since Marcov can't make it you're the best chance I know of that could threaten Mark Berry.
  20. Yeah I believe same as last year (Shearform and Bombardier). Shearform is the most fun event to drive but sucks for spectating however so I'd suggest if you want to watch something other than laps around a racetrack to check out the action at Bombardier (35-45 Frankston-Dandenong Rd, Dandenong)
  21. I can tell you on my car I had all sorts of boost cut issues once I got over 19psi and to fix it I was having to gap my plugs down to as low as 0.4. Since installing the DLI however I've never had an issue once and the plugs are gapped at the standard 0.8. I don't know how it works - but it works for me.
  22. I hadn't either. I just picked up a copy at lunch time - twas a good read. And I got to see Bozman's awesome haircut!
  23. I'll be there (obviously....)
  24. I wonder - if I did the entire track in 4th gear without shifting whether I could beat that? It'd be a good challenge....
