  1. Chris needs a punch in the cock. But anyways - I must say after having a chat to Kurt Styles on the weekend I've got the urge to get into the big HP RWD fun. I think Paris and I might look at getting something for 2009 - we just have to decide on what.
  2. ZR1
  3. Abarth Grande Punto
  4. I've been playing Super Stardust HD and Blast Factor on the PS3 with the wife. They are tops. I just hope we get the Blast Factor update soon on the Aus PSN store.
  5. Some are used as a control tyre in certain race catagories and hence the volumes sold are high - which consequently brings prices down. I know all the EVO guys were gutted because Bridgestone recently lost the rights to one of these control tyres so their prices all got jacked up heaps.
  6. Looks like N.Z. has been removed. There goes my dream of becoming a motorsport "World Champion". lol
  7. Well thats just dumb then. Since its basically just a web link it makes NO SENSE why we don't have the same shite as the US stores. Infact all stores should be the same. Apparently GT5 prologue is now available on the HK store or something. Don't know if it's an english version however. Oh wells, guess its time to call the Canadian Mother-in-Law and get her credit card details so I can get what I want.
  8. Is there any way to get items (purchased ones) from say the U.S. based PSN store? They have so much more stuff than us and some of it I want. I've created a 2nd account to access it but it seems unless you have a US registered street address for the credit card you can't buy anything. Does anyone know someway around that at all?
  9. Look I alreday stated I think the car will fit somewhere between 8-15 on the current list - but its just not going to be top 5.
  10. Its even more odd how deluded some people are about this car. The Carerra GT crapped all over the GTR's Ring time and yet you somehow think that this 1800kg car is going to be faster than it around a racetrack provided its not raining!? Excluding the Atom - all the cars in the top 10 make more power than the GT-R (some LOTS more) and are lighter. And then there is the other factor. As mentioned already tyres will play a huge role in where it finishes. The top cars are all running either Pilot Sports Cups or P Zero Corsa's I'm pretty sure (except the Atom which ran DZ02's - so even better). I really don't know how good the RE-01R's are but the RE070's aren't much chop and could result in upto 2s difference in times based upon tyres alone. The one thing we can get excitied about though is that fact that on the TG leader board it should be in the top 5 - hell even the top 3 of cars we can actually get here in Australia.
  11. Yep this guy can't wait to be there either. Apparently it'll be a huge party...
  12. Bring your car in a fortnight and I will
  13. Hayshed at PI scares me since I can't do it flat anymore. But getting through that and coming over the top of Lukies is super. 3-5 at Wakefield is heaps of fun - so is the esses into sweeper at Barbagallo. And coming over the hill at DECA is crazy in my car - especially if there is no chicane there! And finally - the time we got to do the Thunderdome @ Calder as part of the GP Circuit was completely crazy.
  14. Well it seems Volvo think they are pretty cool. Although I'm not sure if thats a good thing.
  15. Russ - basically what Baron said. Standard Nissan diff with upgraded clutch packs. It's brilliant. That was kinda what my point was to tell you if you didn't already have diff plans to just get the one you have upgraded to start with.
  16. No diffusers so non v spec hey. At least you won't have to worry about that issue I was telling you about. Also - not sure what your diff plans are right now but I ditched my V Spec diffs for a standard non v spec (but tightened) mechanical one and I can't fault it at all. Its definitely better than the V Spec one was. PS - Bayside Blue R34's FTW
  17. Ask Marlin on here if he has seen it around recently.....
  18. I really don't know about that. Having done some wet track days there has been no chance of us keeping up with guys like Jeff Beaumont in his EVO in those conditions. The GT-R's are still a little hard to get fully on the gas in really wet conditions compared to those full time AWD cars.
  19. Have already booked tonight and Thurs night off incase I'm needed. Keep me posted
  20. Haha - yeah but then you think the DB9 is a good car so what would you know
  21. Snowman

    I'm In Denial!

    other than the extra 1.2L
  22. The Stangs look cool - I say get one. AND make sure you put in an order for the new ZR1 PS - this is just for you.
  23. Why isn't he running the GT-R? I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a shake down before Targa - not to mention the media coverage the car will get. Still - it'll be some fun in that EVO for you! Anyways - good luck with getting the new car. Blaise has kept me in the loop with where you are at. I'm personally going to wait for a local one.
  24. Paolucci!! I'd recognise that head anywhere. WTF are you doing here!? lol A little birdy told me you were looking at an R35 maybe. Has to be better than that old 996TT you had hey. Are you going to come play Dutton again this year in the RS? Paris and I are going to TRY and get the keys to one of those Fabcar specials for the weekend but otherwise you'll be seeing my car over there this year.
  25. Yeah the main grandstand is highly overated. As mentioned the best places are the 1st or last corners. Some of the other corners are too fast to actually see the cars go past with any clarity.
