  1. I got Ratchet and Clank for the PS3 (HK ebay special) - it's most entertaining. It's already made me glad I went out and bought the system and GT5 isn't even released yet.
  2. Nice work Will
  3. It was a good day despite the fact that the track had NO grip at all. Guess that big storm washed all the rubber away. Although I must say I much prefer 3 lap sessions to 20min session. I spent over half of my track time cooling the car down rather than driving fast and most other people (at least in my group) were doing the same.
  4. yep no worries. Just a quick question - are you sharing the same car or are they seperate 1600's? (I just need to know for running orders)
  5. Entry List updated. Only a few spots left.
  6. Any word on when we are going to get those group lists so we know what group we are all in?
  7. R.I.P. The Elfin is definitely not a car you'd like to hit a tree in. VERY little protection.
  8. R.I.P. The scary part is David Reynolds is no hack. I mean he just won this years Carrera Cup championship so the boy can drive. For anyone wanting to know what the car looked like I'm 99% sure it is the same car that Tony D'Alberto drove in this years Dutton rally (see below). It was a quick car too. In the Dutton Tony did a 1.34.7 at Winton and a 1.20.4 at Sandown. But it is definitely not a car you'd like to crash into a tree in.
  9. Is there an entry list somewhere? I sent off my form last week.
  10. Yeah I got it Tom - I'll update the list today.
  11. Roy - it was decided immediately that SAU would still count the round as everyone that attended did at least one session on the full circuit and we felt that just because it rained it doesn't mean the round should be cancelled. If you did up the Calder round thread you will find it discussed in there.
  12. For most it goes for 1 day and 1 night. But yes the driving part is just on Saturday.
  13. Entry list updated - still plenty of spots left.
  14. Guess I can leave the ear plugs at home this time then.
  15. Super - that sounds the way to go then. And I can get the Mrs to pick me up some other games from Canada whilst she is there.
  16. Suprising everyone with this post sure has made life for my fax machine easier

  18. Hmmm.... I really wanted one of these 60GB ones for the PS2 backwards compatibility (as my wife and kids go away for a month later this week!) and have been watching the stupid prices on ebay for them shaking my head. But after reading BB's post it sounds like the backwards compatibility isn't all its cracked up to be and I'm better off hanging onto my PS2 and getting a 40GB one instead (since all I want to do is play games on it). But as a quick question - can the games available say from ebay from HK be played on the local machines still? They should right since it says region free?
  19. GT3's are RWD too. GT3 - RWD - NA GT2 - RWD - Turbo Turbo - AWD - Turbo. They did make some AWD GT3's back in the 993 range I think, but as a rule they are RWD.
  20. Come on guys - you know nothing can beat a Monaro. Well except maybe Roger and his Cordia. No one could beat him.
  21. I'd have thought the aim was for the V Spec to beat the 7:31 of the GT2 and then for the EVO to beat everyone. Anyways.....
  22. I thought originally it was stated that there was going to be the standard model, a V spec model AND an Evo model (lighter and faster again - but only 2 seater) and each of them was going to be released a year appart?
