Haha - if you READ THIS you will see they mention a forth coming name change. That is the new name. There has been a bit of work going on to try and take this series to the next level. Some of the plans I have been told sound pretty exciting including the desire to run a "super special" stage on the Saturday night in the form of an event like we have seen in the past for Prolog stages at George Town for Targa Tas and Marysville for Mt Buller. If they can pull it off and have a couple of "feature" events at each round I am sure the series will only go forwards. And Gav - at this stage it looks like we'll be bringing the Blue car over west next year too.

Yeah but my car has issues with Targa rules. Like it's way way way too illegal And putting it to Targa Spec is a giant PITA since it pretty much means I need to change everything (oil cooler, turbo's, diffs, gearbox, exhaust, new set of rims, etc etc) One day I will do Targa but it will be in a new car - not SMAUG. But I figure until I have a Targa car I might as well have a crack at becoming the 1st World Tarmac Sprint Series (Duttons new name) World Champion hey. Will look good on the resume if nothing else if we can pull it off. Unless you want to convince Dean to lend me his car next year Ben?

This guy is a classic example of why you shouldn't vote Labour. The world would be a better place without him... You see this dickhead a good number of years back now came into my old mans Business waving his Union Flag getting all the employee's excited about all the stuff he could get them if they joined the union. In the end it was all crap just for the sake of making himself look important. It forced my old man to sell his business as he couldn't deal with the bullying to a multi-national company who in turn shipped the entire operation off shore to Thailand and just left a warehouse here in Australia altering the workforce there from 280 jobs to 10 in under 2 years. There are so many stories like this and things like the IR reforms are the only things that will prevent more from happening. These idiots love to try and look good for small short term gains that end up with everyone having big long term losses. Oh - and he's the Labor Candidate for the Federal Seat of Maribyrnong at the next Federal Election. So vote for him if you want to lose your job.

Yeah regularly - although the PIARC ones seem usually to be mainly in the 1st half of the year. The weather for Sunday looks perfect. Fine with the chance of a late shower. So pretty of time to set a good lap then the possible chance of 1 session of play time. I love PI in the wet for some reason!

I've recently found I have had better results on 34psi. I found 32-33 good for that one lap but for more consistant results slightly higher to be better.

CAMS License is $89pa. Entry for the event will be $150 roughly if you pay on the day.

The final price here will be interesting. I don't think however that Nissan will price themselves out of the market like they did with the R32. Really whilst Nissan say they are chasing the 997T with this car - they aren't really chasing Porsche customers. Really they will mostly be competing client wise against STi and EVO buyers here in Oz so they can't afford to make the GT-R double the price of one of those IMO.

The price I was given a few weeks ago was $3,150 per team per round.
