  1. I'm not too sure if this is the right area to post this but I'll go ahead anyway. The following wires (found near the drivers kick panel) got a little shaven the other night while installing a stereo. I noticed the 40 amp accessories fuse under the bonnet was also blown. I have replaced the fuse which is fine (hasn't blown again) but ever since this happened my hicas light has been on the dash and wont disappear. The wires look to be intact still, just a little stripped... (my appologies for the quality of photos) Does anyone know what wires these are a part of? (see below)
  2. i wouldnt mind a copy either >> [email protected] cheers!
  3. found a similar problem with my 34 today, the drivers window keeps wanting to go down (i can put it up about 1/3rd of the way then it winds down again) the motor sounds fine, could be the relay i guess.. trying to figure out how to get the door skin off at the moment
  4. ahh my navigator told me I missed a turnoff so I did a U-turn and quite a few people followed *sorry* turns out I was going the right way all along ^_^
  5. do you mean front left 1/4 panel?
  6. had an alpine deck in the past (cda-9827) and it seemed to be a lot faster at loading/skipping tracks than the jvc deck i have now (kw-avx810)
  7. a couple of friends had their cars vandalized lastnight which is pretty f__ked up.. was around the Rockingham/Port Kennedy area.. is it just kids looking for something to do? seriously uncool
  8. mines coming up soon too.. so I need to know what oil and oil filter to buy (stock engine ~ 50,000km)
  9. I've only ever used BP U98.. but I'm keen to try some vortex (then again I've only had my car for a month)
  10. These plates were on my mates old xf falcon, pretty cool for standard wa plates. But he sold the car about 8 years ago, so who knows where they are now
  11. +1 I'm looking to buy one asap (gt-t with the 3 gauges in the middle)
  12. woah.. mine cost me $1400 from japan to fremantle
  13. This is good advice.
  14. +1 :laughing-smiley-014:
  15. was around $713 including 6 months rego not sure if that was a good or bad price but its paid
  16. My car has this too (but only the oil led is showing). It lit up today when the car ticked over 47,500km. First thing I did was check the oil, it was a little on the low side. I'll top her up with some oil soon and see if the led goes off again.
  17. so where do I get one?
  18. Yeah, have had it licensed and on the road since last Friday.. Its so much better to drive compared to the other cars I've had
  19. I'll take a look at mine tonight
  20. Anyone know where I can find the manual to this deck? (Kenwood DPX-550 - 2 Din) I just want to know if the radio frequency can go higher than it does and what a few of the buttons/features do. It's not a huge concern as I wont be keeping the deck in there for long, just need something to listen to for the time being I found the manual for DPX-500 which is the model before (found on kenwood usa site).
  21. Woohoo, its here at last! Picked her up from compliance on Thursday 13th November and drove it home after not making my pit booking in Warwick. Drove it back to O'Connor on Friday and lined up for about an hour, passed the pits no problems (as you would expect). Only thing I thought was a little odd was the pits asked for a copy of import approval (which I thought was strange, since it clearly had a compliance plate which was the first thing he inspected) apart from that, he hardly even looked over the car. Inspector looked under the bonnet, got the engine number, chassis number and then checked my lights and gave it the all clear. All up it took about 1.5 hours including waiting. I then drove up to Wangara (to Autoworx) to have the exhaust swapped back, then to Joondalup for licensing! (Having no license plates gets a lot of attention) Happy with my purchase, the car has very few scratched and no dents, interior is perfect apart from on top of the center gauges which is a little scuffed (oh yeah, where can I order a dash mat for an r34 gtt?). A big thanks to Mark Hocking for finding/inspecting the vehicle for me and Alistair Maxwell at Autoworx for compliance. (I'll add some pics once the car is cleaned & polished)
  22. I just cleaned the outside of mine, used Mother's brand Plastic Polish.. looks great now
  23. This doesn't just happen to imports. I had (what looks like) someone put their knee into my front 1/4 panel on my VS Berlina, tried to pop it out but it still left a bit of a crease, not worth fixing when the cars only worth a little over 3k. I'm paranoid about where I park my 34 now
  24. Ah here she is.. after a little over 3 months of waiting. I have my first Skyline. (Apologies for the quality of phone camera)
