Any advise would be greatly appreciated...... My predicament ?.. I have a set of wheels on order ( 18x10 +15) but they won't be in for about 6 weeks unfortunately I am in desperate need of new tyres now. I am hoping to get some 275/35/18 but are unsure if they will rub without using spacers. From what I can see there isn't much clearance between the inside of the tyre and the upper arm as it is. ( currently 245/40/18) Any advice oh knowledgable ones ?

Does anyone know where I can get some side skirts and rear pods sprayed in millenium jade ( also like to get my front bar touched up ( few small stone chips) I know the paint code is JWO. Admittedly I have not yet asked any panel shops. Is it hard to get or match ? Many thanks in advance

Many thanks for the advice N1GTR .... I will order the 18 X 10 +15 Do you know if I Will I be able to run those sizes and offset without any guard rolling etc..... ?
-
I always thought it was the rolling diameter of the rims/tyres which needed to be the same and that width did not matter. Obviously if the rolling diameters are different the atessa will be detecting what it thinks is wheel spin. Any ideas anyone ? Also on the offset +15 good or no good for 34GTR

ooooooohhhhhhhh I want I want I want. 18 x 9.5 ( Front ) 18 x 10 ( rear ) offset + 15 I think/hope this should be a good offset for a 34 GTR .... Will drop in on Tuesday afternoon with a deposit and hopefully some reassurance that the sizes and offsets will be correct. am I on the right track with sizes and offsets anyone ???

Write a letter If you have a decent driving record you have a reasonable chance at getting two of them wiped off. Probably not the first though....... If you already have a few fines you will be pushin $hit uphill. A mate of mine got off in a very similar situation 3 fines over two days in the same spot doing 56 in a 50 zone. He had only had one fine in 13 years prior to this though.

Tried the steel woool up the exhaust on my modded Ls1 powered VU Ute...... worked really well ( reduced the noise by about 15% I would say ) until........... the bloke doing the testing held it at the required revs and bits of wool started flying out .... one large chunk actually flew out and landed square on his microphone stand....... he was far from impressed. The result a brief stint with a saussage muffler.

my missus has a " no car parts in the house, policy " I wonder if one of these could slip under the radar

Me too anyone anyone

I would advise you not to use 5th with the 4.2 1hz unless doing over 110 -120kph ( even without towing ) and never ever when towing. These engines and trannys have well documented 5th gear issues.....awesome vehicles just stay out of 5th not that you ever really need it anyway.

....or go and see a sheet metal worker and get two steel plates to help cross the gap...that what I did for the GTR cost me $50

100% agree...... lorne to Wye / Kennet River is better........but my personal favourite stretch is between Kennet River and Smythes Creek

Good luck and Dont let the stress ruin your weekend ......and by the third tow trip you will feel comfortable that the setup will cope.

If it is dual axle I cant imagine that there is much ball weight and thus leaf or coil should not make much difference. Not on tarmac anyway.
