Everything is done according to what u said except the fact that i my ground does not have a larger gauge thn my power cable. Will try adding another piece of cable to the ground to increase the gauge tomorrow. Thanks.

Hey guys, Been having problems with my back breaks. Here are the symtoms: . Breaks produce clunking noises every tire revolution when i press on halfway on the breaks . Breaks produce sliding metal noises whn i press a quarter way through . Breaks produce ringing noise when i im not pressing on them while driving Finding the problem quite odd as the break pads are new. What could it be? Something loose that i could possibly tighten myself? Help! Its really annoying. Thankksss

The amp is located at the back of the car and the rca cables are routed towards the left side of the car (which passes the battery which is located at the back) the earth is secure and has the same gauge as my power wires. So wiring my cable on the right side of the car to avoid the battery should fix the problem? Should i avoid both power and earth cables which powers the speakers only or all power cables in the car?

Hey guys, I just installed an amp(1400w) and bose speakers(2x 700w) set into my car with a amp wiring kit; and its making weird high pitched squeeling noises every 5-10seconds (only when its turned on). The sound is only coming from the speakers wired through the amp. Messed arround with the cables(changed to better cables) and it didnt seem to change anything. Whats wrong with my speakers/amp? Hope this helps figuring out the problem : . the B+ is connected to the "blue auto ant" of player. (should be power antenna?) . gnd is linked to chasisy . power is linked to battery (altho obvious =P thought may help) Thanks! =)

I guess u guys are right. It sucks that the P-Plates for the new laws last for a bloody 4 years tho.(1 red, 3 green). Thx for the advice , will probably do just that but still... what should I do with the non-stock muffler? problem....

Shit, well i just got myself a '93 R33 and replaced the stock muffler cauz it was broken from the inside. Changed it to a cannon(cheap second hand one) cauz it would've cauzed me a bomb to import the original parts. Just miss the option of having before july 08 laws. So i have to go with the new p1 laws. What should i do? pay a few hundred to replace my current exhaust with an original import part?

The break pads are new though, and it only rings when im not steping on the breaks. ><

Hey guys! Was wondering if any of u guys know about the details regarding legal mods for p-plate drivers under the new P1,P2 laws in Victoria. (non-cosmetics mods) The new laws say that I cannot have any "performance mods". Do these include upgrades on breakes, suspension and adding a strut brace? What about small mods like changing the stock filter into a pod filter? It also says that I cannot change the exhaust. Does this include the muffler? It'll be great if i could get detailed information on this; if not, information on where can i find detailed information on the problem because I can't seem to find the email for vicroads or the police to ask these questions ><. Hey guys, There is a weird ringing noise coming from the back tires(pretty sure) everytime i take the car out ('93 R33 GT) It kinda stops everytime i hit the breaks. I think its the breakes but was just wondering wether could be smth else and how would i fix it. Do i need to take out the tires n tighten the calipers?(if coulprit are the breakes) Not too sure what the problem is as this is my first car and its kinda driving me mad. Thanks!! Help apreciated

Hey guys, Was wondering where could I get touch up pain for my R33. Just got my car n have no idea where to get parts as well. (minor stuff like guard liners, buttons for the boot.. etc) I live close 2 box hill. Does anyone know of a place near by? thx!! help appreciated!
