Sorry to leave this question so long unanswered, but im only a new guy on here.
I am currently converting my S1 R33 Gtst to GTR... Yes the headlights fit but you need about a 10mil spacer (just washers) behind the lights... For anyone else wanting to do a conversion i'll list the differences for the front end...
Gtr guars require a spacer underneith them in the engine bay.
That means the bonnet hinges need a spacer too... or just find gtr ones.
The GTR guards are 10mil longer so you need spacers for the lights and a GTR bonnet because it is 10mil longer and the supportive frame under the bonnet avoids contact with the higher guards.
The latch mechanism is different so find a GTR one.
S1 gtst headlights will work with 10mm spaces forewards.

There you go, hope there is nothing i have missed.
Anyone interrested in doing this i believe it is worth the money in not only looks but performance wise as GTR front guards and bonnets are made from aluminium which is a hell of alot lighter than those GTST ones... when you feel the difference you'll know what i mean.
