Getting ready to sell my R33 and want some very good condition front shocks, hoping someone has upgraded theirs for better handling and not because theirs were stuffed. Air-con idler pulley for an Rb25 will pay $20, must have good bearing, somewhere not too far from coopers plains so I can come and pick it up. Also wanted dash ash tray the car is an R33 S1 pay $10 cheers Andy.

just a little of topic, but not much, has any one thought of an easy way to flick the plates up, cos if they got your plates ya know the games all over, a nice set of old plates is also good. was thinking about pneumatics using air but there has to be an easier way, maybe jst with cables? any one had a go, you boys sound like the guys who could know. Also was wondering if nz radars can pick up all the the ausie radar bands. theres some nice stealth radar detectors which hide under the bumper, which could be the go, if not maybe they could be recalibrated for ausie conditions. also final question do the cops just use a cb radio which any one can pick up or does it require a special one or do they also run digital and can that be picked up. Im not real dodgy jst have to even the odds, ive only been done a couple of times, late at night 73 in a 60 zone, pure revenue colecting, very very hard not to think f**k the cops, if there turn up on my door step asking for help i know were id be telling them to get!!!

looking for an idler/tensioner pulley with an excellent bearing in it, have had no luck getting my bearing out and have gone and damaged the pulley:( for an r33 but think that any skyline one should be the same please phone 0424631188. south brisbane prefered. cheers

was wondering from someone who has an oil temp guage what temp the rb usually runs at? for my two cents im running Penrite 10w-50 semi synthetic which is SM grade. the engine has done 14x,xxx kms if the engine had dont less kms i would run a 40 grade oil. I once owned a nissan leopard 1990 with a vg30det, same as the z32 and developed a top end lifter sound when i used a 30grade oil, changing back didnt fix the problem. So i play it safe now and run an oil thats a little on the thicker side, I change my oil every 5000kms.

yer, 10psi, drive it pretty nice tho, so should be in closed loop most of the time.

it seems that im wasting abit too much fuel. here are some of my results over the last couple of months sorry they are in km/L not L/100kms 6.5km/L 6.7km/L 7.4km/L 6.8km/L 7.2km/L so thats an average of 6.93km/L have replaced the O2 sencor didnt make any see able difference, are running bp 98 for the last two tanks hoping that that will start to make a small improvement. I have a pod filter with no shelding, so was going to get an aftermarket air box for it, any other ideas on improving km/L ? fuel filter, to improve fuel pressure? better coils? I do about 50/50 city highway driving from coopers plains to the valley for work.

how did you end up with a ticket if there was no speed gun on you? I hope you didnt admit it to them?

does any one know of any tyre place on the southside of brisbane (i live in coopers plains) doing the same thing as treads international, bring 2nd hand tyres in by the container load? 225/50/16 for only 50bucks with no less than 80% tread is an awesome price
