What headgasket should i run on my rb25det? Was quoting a rough estimate on a ACL Metal Head Gasket from turbo tune fr about 250 300, i think it was and also is it worth geting the ARP head bolts?

might get a start on it tommorow man cheers. Might see if i can find a guide on it or something

so what would be the best way to go about the the headgasket issue and if it is a cracked head how would i go about that? cheers for your help

yeah thought thats what it would be, love having a car for not even 2 weeks and bamm. Also looking at doing a 100k service, considering doing it all my self. Never done a headgasket before though. would it be worth having a crack at doing headgasket and 100k service?

noticed the other day that my rb25det has a little oil in the coolant, not enough to change the color of the coolant but i can notice it when its in a puddle on the ground. It seems to have lost abit of power from when i bought ( 2weeks ago), it does have a coolant leak from the block ( not was whats the parts called but ordered a replace from nissan, 3 weeks away, also ordered a coolant temp sensor as it wont start first time without pumping the accelerator. Car doesnt show no signs of over heating, just a slight bit of oil in coolant and loss of power?

Just found this aswell im assuming its the part with the number 14875PA?

well last night i starting leaking a fair bit of coolant from here. leaking where gold joint connects to the block. the car is up on a hoist down at a local mechanic, hes not familler with rbs. Wondering if the goldish joint is screwed in or what? Any help is appreciated. Cheers josh

will look into it tommorow mate, im pretty sure it will have to go through Regency for the transfer and i can see them having a sook about this.

regency would make a mint off me, unless i can just get an easy transfer but not sure how that works?
