  1. might be time to find another workshop... there must be oodles of them in Melb that guys from on here have used with more success. Look for one that wont pull your pee pee.
  2. Damn that sounds really suss... get out and count the wheels, there should be 4 of them Seriously, I would take it somewhere for a quick look, maybe one of those places that offer a free 16pt safety check. get under the hoist with em and have a look.

  6. Booster, If its done the same as a 33, you might find a wire thats looped out from the rest at the igniter module on the top rear of the engine. hook on to this. thats no.1 ... some have said its not real accurate but my cheap-ass timing light hasnt had a prob hooking up from there at all.
  7. you gain access to the bulbs from inside the enginebay - dont try take off the light covers. look for the large round caps at the back of the lights... a quarter turn anticlockwise and they should pull out. keep your fingers off the bulbs. my parkers looked really dull/yellow when i changed my headlight bulbs so i just disconnected em... looks better without em i think

  10. All you people with a-lsd.. what does it say on your blue factory plate on the firewall? look for the line that says something like RC41 I'm interested in seeing if the a-lsd models say something different

  13. Your sources might be confused with the max recommended boost (14psi) with the standard turbo? chinese whispering is rampant amongst the import world
  14. Firstly, what wrong with your diff now?? There are a few different diffs between 32 and 33 lsd and non-lsd , 4.11 and 4.3 ratios etc etc. There are also 5 and 6 stud varieties (where the axles bolt on) and possibly 4 studs, but i cant remember now. climb under and have a look
  15. Something to keep in mind... If your changing your gear oil, make sure you can loosen the side plug first! If it wont budge (some are hard as hell) and you have drained your oil out the bottom plug, your up the creek!

  19. i use the big fat z202 it doesnt have right angle connectors i think its just fatter than the z200
  20. might be the fuse that protects the ignition amplifier thingy thats mounted on the top/rear of the motor?
  21. does it do the same when you take off going down hill? doesnt the atessa system have latitude and longitude sensors? maybe yours are playing up
