Just wanted to add, I installed the Extreme TSC last night, and it's awesome (subjective, awesomeness). Handles like a RWD, more predictable and definitely more responsive, for all you tail happy customers. Only annoying thing is that it makes your ABS light up (because it disables your front ABS), and the 4WD light, lights up to. But ease of installation I would say 8-9/10 if you have basic wiring knowledge. It's not plug and play, but strip and clip. I think the benefit of the HKS one is that it's purely plug and play. Picked up the Extreme TSC for $149 on ebay, financial year price. (NEW). OH btw, if you have a late R33 GTR or R34 GTR, you can't use the 2WD mode. (har har)

Update: OK the problem is still there after doing the clutch work. I've started to pick up a pattern, it happens especially obvious after long start stop traffic. My car's acceleration/revving will hesitate badly, and the exhaust note changes to a husky metallic sound. There is severe powerloss, really bad boost and really hard to rev/unresponsive engine. To cure this, I stop by the side of the road, power off the engine for around 20 seconds, and power back on. It goes away! AFMS cleaned, new coilpacks. I'm starting to think it's dodgy fuel pump related, as googling around symptoms typically relate to my situation. Some say due to fuel pump overheating, it starts to play up. Can anyone confirm that they have had the same problem?

Update: I resealed the gaskets with high temp gasket sealer. Problem has gone away

Pretty easy to check, get someone or yourself if you can, to stand infront of the BOV hole and see if the piston vents when revving under boost. From here you can tell if its the BOV leaking, use a feather or soap around the seals to check further.

Update: After adjusting the spring rates, which didn't make the sound go away, it's narrowed down to the seals. I pulled the BOVs off and fitted the stockers back on. Car runs fine, will get some gasket seal. Funny enough, I was curious to know if the stock ones would blow off as well, but the car stalled. I guess the spring rates are really weak in the stockers. There you go... have some gasket seal handy when pulling apart valves.
