  1. I don't know if this info is useful to you at all, when it comes to the RB26, 121psi is the absolute bottom limit according to the GTR service manual for compression in any cylinder
  2. Apexi turbo's are rare turbos nowadays being discontinued. That turbo according to my turbo chart is actually rated to ~320bhp. As a pair rated to 600hp according to nengun. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&p=980165 lists the turbos stats, trim size etc
  3. So many jap part shops have stacks and stacks of jap catbacks, I wonder what it stopping you from getting one?
  4. What grade oil do you run (10w-40, 15w-40, 20w-50 etc)? it might just be a simple thing of running an oil that has more favorable cold viscosity than the oil you use now (and guessing during summer as well)
  5. Anything is possible when it comes to boost leaks, could be a leak in the rubber intercooler piping
  6. Lol I've got a exact same 4l bottle of that stuff sitting in my backyard (literally on the grass), it was meant to be used in a oilchange on my bomb of a n12 pulsar I owned at the time but it's been long sold and dunno what to do with it.. probably drop it off at a oil recycling place, never been opened (heack even the cap seal is still on haha)
  7. Try the site's traders, pretty sure Kudos or Slide sell the Tomei restrictors.. always the option of greenline.jp
  8. Check attachment if still needed the instructions Installation_Instructions_for_Triple_Flow_Cam_Cover_Baffle_Plate.pdf
  9. I'm wondering, would it be overkill to use both the Mines triple flow baffle plates, and a oil/air seperator at the same time? I'm also wondering with the Mine's plates, oil purists here (not one myself, but hypothetically anyway); wouldn't you want the blowby oil that would normally come out the stock baffle plate to be caught by your oil catch can than a oil/air seperator or the triple flow baffle plates sending it back into the sump?
  10. Check the hoses to the charcoal canister, mine kept blowing off and it would idle high, i ended up using hoseclamps to get them on.
  11. I was never involved in the previous hoodies grupbuys, but I definitely want one.
  12. I only trust my GTR to Shaun at Boostworx
  13. I hope you aren't reading the stock gauge, it's measured in millilitres of mercury per mm(?) squared, +7 is 13.2psi
  14. Find the R32 GTR service manual off the net and find out the procedure to put the ecu into diagnostic mode. Yes that torque figure is very high. My suspicion is the Air Flow Meter. Wouldn't hurt to reset the ECU and see if it solves the idling issue.
  15. I'm just alittle confused at the moment, I need clarification on how much power can safely get from 700cc injectors?
  16. yeah it's at least a 4-5hr job for someone whose done it before, Boostworx quoted $400 only prob is their waiting list
  17. My inlet manifold gasket is blown (can clearly hear the engine react when brake cleaner is sprayed around the gasket) and my R32 GTR only putting out 199kw as a result, I've brought replacement metal gaskets (inlet manifold and set of throttle body) but I'm not confident about taking the inlet manifold off, doing the change correctly (throttle body gaskets are fine I think, but I want to change them anyway) and putting it back on.
  18. A quick look on greenline.jp I've found this for you: http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpar...ocharger%20Kits
  19. The R32 GTR will always have the racing pedigree from running in the Australian Touring Car Series, and being banned. I actually prefer the 32's tail happy nature, gives it some character.
  20. put the rear on jack support stands so you can put it in gear? if there's a leak I wouldnt be suprised if the original nissan exhaust manifold gasket has blown out (it's paper), Sliding Performance on here does the Tomei (rb26, i dunno if the rb25 is the same or if tomei make a rb25 version) metal exhaust gasket for under $100 if it is indeed the problem.
  21. My 32 GTR came from japan with not 1 mark on the front spoiler lip with the front ride clearance height at roughly 112-120mm.. in 6 months ive scratched it up badly majority was driveways, the first couple of weeks of ownership was the worst, was scraping driveways and scraped a parking cement thingy but since then i've been careful as humanly possible
  22. interested as well, are they direct fit for r32 gtr?
  23. Any weight target overall of the GTR planned once the project is completed?
