  1. I too have considered this boost controller as well, but waiting on a test subject to report back
  2. So many pages to read, here's my questions, how much are they now, will it fit in my r32 gtr battery palce without probs, and what will postage be like to SA?
  3. It's not a GroupA Nismo either, since they end with "RA"
  4. The number you have quoted could be (paste from wikipedia): The unknown bits on the end, LMZG could indicate the intercooler ducts, bonnet lip spoiler, boot lip spoiler etc (ive never seen a Nismo R32 GTR model string before) As for it being a V-Spec, impossible (paste from wikipedia):
  5. Yes my bad Keswick
  6. I need a R34 GTT vin (any will do) so I can pull up the parts list for it
  7. I think I'll go with the Greddy/Trust extension pipe, front pipe+dump pipe in one: http://www.trust-power.com/02turbo/extention_fp.html Unless I can still source a 2nd hand front pipe in good nick, and pair them up to the HPI dumps I linked
  8. I'm after an electronic boost controller that is under $200 (including postage) to suit a R32 GTR (dual solinoid is preferred), I like the HKS EVC III, Blitz Dual-SBC Spec R (dual solinoid version) and the Greddy Profec B Spec 1. I prefer the HKS and Blitz units because they have the built in boost readout.
  9. What you want is Nissan FAST (800-900mb download), it helps find Nissan parts, let me know your VIN and I can try help (reads something like ER34-xxxxxx on your blue plate)
  10. I want to switch out the stock cam gears out of my R32 GTR with adjustable cam gears (to save on labour, while letting my chosen garage do the cam gear adjustment later), will I need to check the timing or will it be a direct swap?
  11. Could possibly need a new radiator cap
  12. Not to mention any tools you bump into the enginebay, are pretty much gone for good.. i lost my positive side red battery cover and the only way to get out was packing tape on the end of a long stick
  13. Tonkins do viper alarms, but I wouldn't recommend them, their markup on the Viper units is about 300% (I even considered importing the viper 5301 from the US since it was 1/3 the price there).. plus they wanted $450 to install it. I ended getting my alarm done by a guy who works out his home in Klemzig, had the same features, used my factory neutral safety switch (ive read horror stories of aftermarket neutral safety switches) and was tied in to work with my hks turbo timer and cost less than half it would have cost if tonkins installed the viper 5301 and used a aftermarket neutral safety switch.
  14. 94 R32 GTR Hard to park, car feels like your parking a whale, not to mention the poor turning circle.. impossible to judge distances between you and stationary objects, very hard to gain confidence to reliably park this thing Oil Filter location Open door beeping Accidently scraping the front lower lip while going too far into a park spot or dodgy driveways I'm 6'5, car is awkward to get out of, door needs to be completely flung open to really get out properly without straining yourself, tight parks amplify the awkwardness Being 6'5, barely enough room for me to turn the steering wheel without my legs getting in the way of my hands while turning the wheel Useless turbo pressure guage... millilitres of mercury my ass.. surely bar or psi is a more universal understood measurement of air pressure Air vents that are broken off, mate thinks they come pre-broken from the factory R32 has no dedicated oil cooler.. (if you can count that water/oil cooler to be any good on the track)? Nismo coilovers, starting to really feel in my lower back after trips longer than 20 minutes Power windows are fiddly, i still havent worked out how to get them to the height i want on command, they just had a mind of their own and require random mashing just to get the window half openish. Having to park in the middle of nowhere in carparks, and still losing paint Gritting my teeth every time I see a speedbump HICAS.. wells whats to say, takes alot to get used to Seats don't go back far enough Climate control is really fiddly, and a big distraction trying to get it to work the way you want while driving The first time you sit in the drivers seat of the GTR, you cant help but be overwhelmed and intimidated by all the stock guages you might not seen in a normal car (torque split, volts, turbo pressure, oil temperature, oil pressure etc)
  15. Nissan FAST was last updated October 2001, it doesn't have V35 info
  16. Yep, Automatic, 4 Forward gears would be how to translate it
  17. Is this for sale still?
  18. I wrote a ltitle PHP script today, to decode R32 models, it's a automated version of http://www.users.on.net/~goofyhsk/info/chassis_plate.html: http://fteqw.com/moodles/model-decoder.php
  19. Are the Tomei dumps superior to the HPI and Power Enterprise dumps (apart from HKS and Tomei, HPI and Power Enterprise being the only other dumps available, except for the Mines And Nismo dumps which are 1.5k+): HPI (3/4 the price of the Tomei dumps on nengun): Power Enterprise (the same price as the Tomei dumps on nengun):
  20. My question was really aimed at the company itself, do X-Force just make chinese quality knockoffs made here in australia?
  21. What about X-Force dump pipes? http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=276&page=1 alternate picture: http://www.xforce.com.au/img/products/p25_01.jpg I don't know much about X-Force, but at as a closer look they look the same as the Autobahn88 dumps.
  22. (I hope I entered it right) Something strange is happening, whenever I click my uploaded screenshots I get "Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information."
  23. Does your oil cooler has an inline thermostat? Might be causing to make your engine warm up slowly
