  1. any thoughts on running a seperate Cat and muffler on the WG pipe by itself ? Ash, what were the effects of changing it to plumb back ??
  2. that would depend on the alarm, im sure they would not be considered value for money if simply unplugging them allowed the car to start
  3. makes me not want to remove my 1.2Bar spring from my new Wastegate definately a puzzling thing
  4. no idea on costs, but the switch itself is fairly simple design - may even be compatable with one from a locally supplied model of nissan that you can get cheap replacement for
  5. they are usually straight forward to replace, you will need to source one from nissan as a replacement
  6. once this section gets going, i believe that those people capable of doing/making things for others would be contactable via PM etc with evidence of things they have made. no need to start any kind of competition or advertising for people, and people can see what they have done already and make the approach to them directly.
  7. who can say if your 10ish year old lines will hold the pressure ????? if you are concerned buy about 3m of new 600psi hydrolic line that is fuel safe and use all new host clamps .. then it will hold your fuel pressure without the worry in the back of your mind that it "might" explode/break/crack etc etc

  11. i'll be boxing my setup ( 1.5L surge - 044 - std lift pump ) as its sitting under the parcel shelf in the r33 replacing the battery. atm its noisy even with a rubber mounted bracket from motorsport connections and teh fuel fumes are damn strong without it. i'll just cover the rear/side/top of the enclosure with a foam of some description to reduce the noise. Front will be perspex. just my idea
  12. it means the plugs run hotter and can induce firing issues with the boost. BCP6ES coppers for $1.50 each, drop them in with 0.8 gap and see how you go
  13. well 5 heat range is too hot, most use 6 checked your coils for cracks? boost below 12psi?
  14. pipes to convert = adapters you think the rubber hose from the std AFM's will stretch to fit the new 80mm AFMs?
  15. you could just speak to a powder coating company, then get a quote from them on what is required to prep the rims then lay the colour and bake.. powder coating has many options to increase the durability of the new colour. i know of a powder coaters in seven hills, but none closer to you in the shire
  16. whoops, so it is, my bad is there the same thing on the other side in the same location?
  17. you will need to rewire them as per Paulr33's site http:\\paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com - digrams section. then you will need to get pipes made up to convert the std 65mm hose to the new 80mm Z32 AFM's
  18. yep was how i thought about it as well.. DIY type section of - this is how this was made and completed. Help/discussion - im thinking of making this, or im stuck with this etc etc Duncan, tight modding will be good, and if setup from the get go it will be easier to close re-posts of the same type of discussions. obviously im willing to help out if any is required in this regard, after all if it goes ahead it will have been my fault
  19. looks the goods, maybe shortening the 2nd section of the WG pipe will allow you to move things up further to get a smoother integration of the WG gasses. This is why we need a fabrication section on the forum *looks at signature Wink wink nudge nudge
  20. or a tow ball.. but a cage wouldnt get in there, no way to get it through the boot to that location for it to do anything. could have been something to mount a sound system to..
  21. from meory its a rough textured red paint, similar to the Mines textured purple paint.. dunno where you'd get that from
  22. stock AFM's are green for r32 and s1 r33 both the std and z32 are 80mm Paulr33 has all the info on them on his site http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/ under diagrams
  23. std automotive paints will and DO work fine on cam covers/valley covers and front cam gear covers.
  24. GTR's are 60-65mm Z32 and std 80mm Q45 - 90mm
  25. there is a thread at the top of this forum section LINK http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=138419 that has ll the paint codes, just choose the one you want to check then google the paint code - it normally has some paint shops website that can show you the colour
