  11. so its using single LEDs ??? im running twin leds per letter - as seen in the first post in the thread in the first post
  12. clean and hone of block, lynish crank and NDC mains and ACL big ends, decked - i payed $330 rings $150 -$200 MLS headgasket $250 plus labour for whoever rebuilds it if you dont do it yourself thats using stock rods and pistons
  13. lines could have dried up a bit, had a similar issue but it resolved it self after leaving it a day
  14. it would cause a pressure lost, since you would shortly after run out of oil
  15. i wont be welding up the head, an drilling it out, and replacing witha grub screw thats sealed, so incase i use the head again on an rb25 it will be usable
  16. i got mine cheap but not THAT cheap ... the rb25 cometic im running on the rb25 in the car cost me $330 got some ACL piston rings, so its almost wash and build time prob 3 weeks
  17. is there any issues running the RB25 gasket with the rb25det head? obviously the oil feed is different, and will be modified for VCT externally..

  19. depends on the amount of wear in the engine, more wear = more crank pressure releasing through the breathers on the cam covers
  20. blow by, the breathers usually feed back into the intakes
  21. is that a 1.8mm thick gasket? what compression ratio are you aiming for?
  22. thermo is the same for ALL RB motors rb20,25,26,30 pcv valves are std on all modern cars, should be able to get a replacement from nissan direct, if not a generic one from a auto parts supplier with the gromets, how many did you lose? they are 2 piece, they have a steel washer within the rubber grommet, without the rubber part, there is a gap so it needs something the rubber plug would be the half moon plug? i would be seeing nissan for that too
  23. i am, going to see how it lasts with 300rwkw already picked up a 2nd motor incase it goes, which is gonna get the goodies in it, and more power -------------------- anyone able to confirm if the rings are the same on the rb30E and RB30ET pistons? i know the pistons are different, but i have just recieved some ACL rings and they are labelled RB30T rings .
