  1. umm no .. the reg works be restricting how much flows through it so when it allows less to flow through it , the pressure in the rail increases.. and vice versa you cant pressurise something that doesnt have a restriction of some sort
  2. that looks like charlies engine NXTIME
  3. ummm who gave doodz alcahol ????? happy birthday Liz Jane have a good one
  4. 1.4 A just for having the timer plugged in -- 3 wires, worked perfect thats ALOT more than a car should drian just sitting there, and this was just that unit. so ease up
  5. its part of the DOHC conversion pdf... you must modify the power steering bracket to get it to fit quoted from cubes guide The only modification to bolt up ancillaries is the Power steering bracket. The RB20/25/26 the top power steer bracket mount bolts up to the head. Due to the extra deck height the rb30 has the top power steer bracket mount bolt up to the block. You will be required to grind the lug flat so the bracket is able to sit flat on the block. The R31 Skyline power steer bracket looks identical to the modified R32 power steering bracket. Look in to it.
  6. sweet, thought o the welding option, wanted to see if there was an easier way ..

  15. not really a strength requiring skill, unless your working with big materials, and the welder can be on a trolley. found some really good articles on the hybrid z forum.. well the links are there . site with how to's, projects and tech articales on how to weld.
  16. Joel , where did you get the studs from? might as well replace mine along with the bearings on the rb30
  17. i had my rb30 block honed, decked and cleaned , crank lynished and king bearings supplied by my machinist for $330 last time i had a head decked and cleaned there it was about $100 boring it if the bores arent round or going for oversized pistons would be more of course. not too sure what you mean by pressure tested though. this was at : nepean engines in penrith
  18. i bent 2 valves on cyl 6 when i bolted mine in .. i was later advised that the crank needs to be moved OFF TDC so that none of the pistons are at full extension, that way if the cams are not in the correct location the valves will not meet with the piston. cant see how it would be able to be that off that the valve would snap though
  19. the wastegate sizing thread is in the quick reference guide sticky ..
  20. SAU windscreen heat shields like : helps stop people looking in, advert for the club, keeps heat out.

  23. they arent direct fit but can be modified to fit
  24. this isnt so for r33's you need to remove the side vents as there is a bolt behind each of the side vents, and there is also bolts underneath the demister vents as well just a hint for 33 drivers who might read this
  25. damn thos pics are small .. bigger ones? arrow faces the wastegate actuator. line needs to come from the plenum or the IC piping.. looks like it is trying to use the line from the plenum to the carbon canister should be direct line -- plenum - boost controller -- actuator
