  1. closed loop means using the O2 sensor.. so maybe disable that feature and test ..
  2. have you read the rb30 conversion thread ? running rb30et pistons will give you incredibly low compression ratio from memory it was around 7:1
  3. HPi tested the apexi intake bell mouth (bolts onto the AFM instead of a filter) and reported gains.. cant remember exactly how much - could have been from not running a filter at all..
  4. atmo BOV can cause over fueling on gear shift .. this un burnt fuel enters the exhaust system and causes a backfire..
  5. aggressive tune? no cat convertor? Atmo BOV?
  6. afm issues will not cause you to not have boost
  7. my 040 had this same banjo fitting on it just unscrewed that from the end of the pump, then bought a check valve for around $50 from motorsport connections, which allowed me to run a speedflow fitting onto the fuel hose.
  8. well only other option is a leak in the hosing only seen during boost conditions as GT shortie said, check thew vacuum lines are not split and are hooked up correctly... ie without controller - straight from IC pipe or plenum direct to the actuator
  9. check that its all connected from above the turbo ... if you have the heat shroud over it, remove that and check that the arm is still connected to the wastegate flap
  10. check that its all connected from above the turbo ... if you have the heat shroud over it, remove that and check that the arm is still connected to the wastegate flap
  11. mine leaks but i only used the std nissan gasket.. was told by plazmaman, that you should be using a sealant along with the plenum gasket for proper sealing
  12. sounds like your turbo isnt doing anything.... or the wastegate actuator isnt connected, hence bypassing the exhaust and making no boost ..

  20. if this is for an R33 gtst like your details say then you dopnt have type a or B those are for the R34 NEO engine you have the std type .. your case S1 poncam or the PRO cam which requires the change to the solid buckets as shown on thier website http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu...2_cam_RB25.html you need S1 since the S2 engine they refer to is for sept 97 and later model engines

  22. N1 is direct replacement for all RB's it has the elongated hole for the 10mm bolt other than that if you choose not to use that 10mm bolt, all RB water pumps will work
  23. you see the small square that is darker on the right hand side of the engagement surface ?? mine is about that size and is about 20 thou deep ...
  24. my rb30 crank has the wear pattern like right hand crank in this pic http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=55657 so looks like the wear is the same with rb30 oil pump as well, regardless of the smaller gear
