  1. reminds me of the guy from spider man 2 but i know why its like that
  2. that would make it fit like 15mm forwards and 15mm upwards the 30 mm is straight up *insert dodgy picture here
  3. over charging the battery can kill them, same as letting them go completely flat a few times
  4. the charge the battery recieves should always be around 14.5v from the alternator.. if its above or well below that it would need to be looked at . ie make sure its belt is not slipping etc try what Blind_elk said .. the charge value should remain the same from idle to all revs.. shouldn't change dramatically
  5. to correctly modify that 30 vertical lift you nearly have to re engineer the whole dump pie to get it to continue flowing smoothly
  6. each battery has an amp hours rating.. so it can supply say 60amp hours EDIT : was slightly off lol Amp Hours The Amp Hour rating tells you how much amperage is available when discharged evenly over a 20 hour period. The amp hour rating is cumulative, so in order to know how many constant amps the battery will output for 20 hours, you have to divide the amp hour rating by 20. Example: If a battery has an amp hour rating of 75, dividing by 20 = 3.75. Such a battery can carry a 3.75 amp load for 20 hours before dropping to 10.5 volts. (10.5 volts is the fully discharged level, at which point the battery needs to be recharged.) A battery with an amp hour rating of 55 will carry a 2.75 amp load for 20 hours before dropping to 10.5 volts. i have the same issue with my car as its a weekender too. solar panel charging is how i fixed it up
  7. those figures sound correct .. how many Amps are being drawn through battery when everything is off ???
  8. try it with another battery or jumpstarting it while trying to crank it.. engines usually only need fuel spark and compression ... maybe just needs to be turned faster than the battery can speed the starter
  9. is it coming from the area directly behind your radiator fan? look under that area and there is a small hole in the bottom of the water pumps drive/bearing area .. if it is coming from there.. your water pump is cactus and needs replacing
  10. if your alternator is in good condition you would only see a drop in revs at idle as its working harder to drive the alternator
  11. can we assume that you have an r33 from your login name??? if so, they are electronic and there isn't a cable there is a speed sensor mountewd on teh back of the gearbox that can get play in it and not read, they also run a plastic gear on the end from memory so that can wear also
  12. CAS plugged in?? remove one of the coil packs and spark plug .. earth the end of the plug while its plugged into the coil pack... then crank to see if its got spark
  13. you should do, that is why atmo setups are illegal .. emissions
  14. which part of that dont you get would make it easier to answer is borrowed from thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=129655 they are the rear drains
  15. yes but if you reduce the bottom and not the top, you have more leverage , hence it still being easier to move the cogs in that particular throw range.
  16. 33's are electronic, they have a speed sender on the G/B that sends the signal to the speedo in the dash then to the ECU .. if the speedo is working, it will be an issue with the dash mechanism
  17. is it 11 or 12 sec 1/4's you want BIG difference in what you'll need is that a further $5500 ontop of the injectors? then you could get a gt30 on there and about 260rwkw for that kind of money
  18. your 800cc injectors are not going to go well in the car with a std computer if it doesn't flood itself it will run like crap and chew the fuel.
  19. you would need to use a timing light and adjust for as close to 15 deg BTDC.. if you dont have a timing light, try to get it lined up so that the bolts are in the centre of the sliding opening on teh CAS.. then drive it to a mechanics that can adjust the base timing .. put it there incase you have too much base timing, you dont want it pinging
  20. hahahaha, ummm then i really dont know
  21. instruction 1 - search link at top of page sorry dude but there are lots of threads on this.. have a look around
  22. yes yes it will
  23. sure not the best or close up pic (note temporary setup- box being made for setup one day lol )
  24. aaron from Sliding performance (Slide on the forums) just got me some tomei restrictors .. he can get them and send em direct to you. the only other place i know that has them is hi octane in parramatta in Syd
