  1. trying to confirm, but the series one motors have the half moon connection, i THINK the S2 ones have a star type drive on the CAS
  2. im pretty sure the base circle is the same on the cams so that would work
  3. mine came with a banjo style fitting with a check valve... i removed it and installed one from motorsport connections .. lets you use a straight fitting Vs the banjo style side exit off the pump.. also lets you use a speedflow type screw on fitting for your main feed line from the pump... plus it screws directly into the fitting on the end of the pump as well think it was about $50
  4. also less heat in the headlight surround, less likely to affect the plastic covers... not doubt that this heat is what can cause the pruple haze in some of our headlights
  5. thats making the gear shifter shorter not making the shift shorter the short shifter increses the throw below the pivot point, not above it it will be shorter, but also alot harder to shift, more notchy as well..
  6. well the cams are different bewteen pre sept 97 and post sept 97 series 2 motors hence the 2 different part numbers what does the exhaust cams CAS area look like? like the key fitting .. that would be the only difference between them, all other bolt on parts are the same etc
  7. happy birthday matey :sorcerer: all the best champ
  8. sure as above apexi lets the least through to the test filter .. so you think of it this way HKS mushroom = not as good as apexi copy of apexi = less than HKS
  9. AFM wiring or plug have a look at the DIY sectiona nd do a search for fixing a GTR AFM . it has the fix for re soldering the connections on AFM's that can cause issues.
  10. cool, but look at the price difference .. especially since he is in the UK .. ARC is same price shipped ans the ARE is unshipped...
  11. www.nengun.com http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/748 ARE coolers -$ 1054 for the kit though
  12. no, should not have water in the catch can...
  13. pretty sure that its an aussie thing so you cant fit a leaded filler in an unleaded car
  14. usual problem is that they dont bond the reducer to the filler pipe so it leaks out either the breather or the filler pipe itself where they join
  15. ummm straight 6 turbo . depending on your driving style and whether its city or country driving .. std r33 gtst should see from 350-500 kms per tank.. o2 sensor on the exhaust would be main culprit other than thrashing the car
  16. newly complied ? dodgy compliance change to the restricted unleaded nozzle hole on the filler pipe..
  17. yes but if you use the electricsa and ECU and everything from the S1 you wont know the difference there is very little difference between the 2 motors.
  18. use the sensors and coil packs etc from your engine.. and it would be direct fit .. only thing that might be different in the exhaust cam gear key... but if the S2 motor is before sept 97 then you should be fine
  19. comparison web site http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/1/index.html interesting
  20. have a read of pauls FAQ on the power FC . main cause of a flashing is knocking ... http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/docs/power...powerfc-faq.htm
  21. look on pauls site http://members.dodo.com.au/paul/ click diagrams on the left, then scroll down to "Nissan OEM Airflow Wiring Diagrams" 4 wire from 32 is straight swap for r33 s1 green sticker
  22. or just do what i did, and put an inline oil filter on the oil lines to the turbo ... cant hurt, could only help
  23. think he meant a pipe spanner like this though
