  3. ahha i remember in my mates nissan Exa, we were driving it very hard (working doing delivery driving for a chinese restaurant) we got back to the shop one time and the heat in the rotors and pads after stopping made them burst into flames .. hahaha i shit you not, so if it hasnt got to that point your everything will be fine, as long as you start driving again as Jason said to get everything cool, and to stop hot spots on the rotors
  4. haha OK adam ...
  5. haha ok .. TPS is easy with a 6mm socket .. its the throttle position sensor, on the throttle body -- may be a bandaid fix though AAC - auxilery Air control (idle control).. big DIY on how to clean them on here..

  7. wow. i have used the claw type on a few engines (rb25 - BMW 2.3L- CA18det and lancer 1.5L ) and never had anyof them "stuck" like this... maybe i just got lucky oh, i never use the front most rim on them though, always as far back as possible on the balancer
  8. you want original plastic? fibreglass? carbon? what series front bar does it have too... make it easier for people
  9. is it only this one that does it? edit - that doesn't explain why noise is only on deceleration though
  10. take the AAC off and clean as well Adam .. other option is the TPS might need a little adjustment
  11. jack the car up, have it in gear and try to turn the wheels suddenly.. see if it makes that sound.. that will discover if its drive line related MAKE sure the handbrake is off for this one, also try it out of gear aswell also while its up.. shake the exhaust to see if it moves enough to make that noise
  12. in the boot, but not in the STD location that R33's have ..
  13. buy a daily driver... i pretty much had to. im running 400rwhp - 294rwkw and i was looking at fuel economy of 13L/100km ie. 450km a tank without hitting a freeway (just but this was big long drives as i travel 152kms A DAY to and from work - no freeway/highway
  14. isnt there an injector trim screen in there? thats permanent
  15. think of a way to cover the area effectively from welding splatter and i will weld up a couple for the shit bars in the back... then can make up an adapter that attaches to that bar that can slide accross the m moujnt the camear where ever you want..
  16. anyone know what kind of current is drawn from the std fuel pump, same with the bosche 044 pumps? with both of these running from direct power via a switched relay (each) finding its drawing alot of current making the car take longer to start as in if i prime the system and turn the pumps off, then the car starts easier, then i switch the pumps on. this is ona 550CA 60amp hour battery
  17. that is an option, though most seats i have ever seen that recline have play in them, and would end up shaking the camera
  18. hmmm so Foose is part of that show i posted the other day .. trying to download one of the episodes but its taking ages muscle looks tops, that "sniper" thing aint my cup of tea though .. need to get these damn shows in box sets properly...
  19. well working nights and not having foxtell i have to deal with what i can see on DVD etc boyds cars turn out HOT but yes you feel he cuts corners too much to get them done.. OR they just make it look like that to make for better television.. you cant say the finished products aren't awesome hot rods -- same with the old monster garage series .. did the main work in 6 days.. but then the is time taken off camera to make them look neat . 54 chevy and the old skool wagon in the last episode.. they are tight who is this Chip Foose, what show are the cars from.. the Cuda i think might have been rides.. from what i have seen/read before

  21. they are normally poking up in front of the firewall on the drivers side close to the engine.
  22. its your coil packs if regapping it improved the situation.. time for some splitfires
  23. so your not going to be building it yourself then? then get some quotes from some workshops.. expect for a proper build RB26/30 to be near $10K just for the motor including labour.
