  2. im guessing that this is why you have had a lot od looks and no replies .. most people on here aren't engine builders ... neither am i .. but if your building a high power RB26 .. i would suggest getting the head dechek to make sure its straight .. esp with a metal head gasket. while its getting decked, have them clean/bath/dip the head to get the carbon off it. you will still need to clean the block with a blade and metho/turpentine to help get it clean. if anything fell into the bore... i doub't it would go far into the gap between the piston and bore.. but blowing it out would be fine in my opinion. oil feeds .. pretty sure that the RB26 already has one blocked.. a better idea would be to get the return drill out bigger to allow the oil to flow down better -- this recommended if it will be revving hard all the time. if you dont get the head cleaned .. try carbie or contact cleaner .. works well on this sort of deposite hope this helps you a bit! Hey guys.... cars about to be tuned when a couple of little issues are fixed up, but was wondering how the std coilpacks will hold up with near 300rwkw on an S1 rb25 ?? never had any problems with them as yet but its prob got just under 200kw. just hoping they hold up for a while .. thinking of ordering some split fire coils through nengun .. so trying to think ahead so i get em/have em when i need them. let us know what you guys think. cheers
  4. i doubt you'll get anything.. since from that angle your plate wont be in the pic anyway.. and as long as your car isn't in the second picture they wont get you.. AFAIK if you cross the line and you do not pass through the intersection (hence the second photo) they wont book you.

  8. are there any ADR approved Fixed buckets? since they are legal in a coupe whent he rear seats are removed.. oh and am interested in the link to the site!
  9. perhaps the solenoid plugs into the std solenoid wiring loom... see if the plug will fit... im only guessing here by the way!
  10. bought one of these off amosite last year with exact same specs........ ... just put the car together and getting it dyno'd on monday .. i'll let you know the results so people can get an idea of what is possible with this turbo on an RB25 ..

  17. boost cut will come in at that boost with std ecu, plus it would run heaps rich and you wouldn't get much from it... could try sourcing a 2530-40 they bolt up with same exhaust setup.

Hey guys and gals... just installed the Z32 afm but just wanna check how to turn on that option in the HC.. have seen the menu with the AFM options... but cant see a way to select which one to use.... i go to the 80 VG30 option but it only gives the voltage readings. any ideas would be good .. thanks

  22. got some info on the weekend.... found a sprinter coming into the country in a couple of weeks.. 4AGE..20V with HKS cams coilovers mech LSD BRIDE buckets... have to have a look at it once she comes in.. but im pretty sure i'll get it!
  23. nice... where abouts did he get the rear wing??? and how much? and how did it get attached ... we wanna put it on the sprinter.. but need to get one and figure out the attachment before we continue the prepping.
  24. yeah i dont think they will have any impact over a normal good single pod .. get an apexi dual funnel filter from negun...$90 delivered and has been proved as one of the best on the market... be easier to get a single into a box than that little monstrocity....
  25. does it use a probe or just have wires to hook up the the std sensors? probe ones for water temp use a connection in the pipe running to the radiator from the thermostat.. try to get a double adapter that you can use for the oil temp from the std location of the oil pressure sender.
